Just had an email from them with special offers of Europe from £29 one way. I'm not sure if this is particular cheaper than other offers but ideal for autumn city breaks.

I LOVE Eurostar! I don't live in London, I live in Birmingham but I just catch Virgin Trains to Euston and a quick switch to St. Pancras. It may be a little longer than flying but I love there is no weight limit, no liquid restrictions, no turbulence & you're in the heart of Paris when you arrive! I paid £75 return from Birmingham to Paris via London back in May. I would have definitely booked if I wasn't going to Barcelona! Heat added

Thanks very much, don't know what the usual price is I've never been on eurostar. Anyone know what the luggage allowance is?

Concerning luggage you can take anything you want with you, (no weapons of course and especially this moment well you know how is the mood in france) no matter the weight or tge size of your luggage or how much you have. You just have to be able to hold it by yourself

I looked for 2 dates in November, must have just been unlucky then as they were both extortionate

Just booked a trip to and a return for Paris in November for £29 per person (Each Way).
All because you cannot find it next week for £29 doesn't mean it isn't there.

As a Londoner myself, though maybe haven't spent as much time in Paris as you, i'm intrigued by what you say here. I have never felt anything but safe on the streets of London at night, and i've spent time in some off the beaten path areas. Maybe it's because i'm young and male?

There are plenty cheap seats available for Paris if you look later on e.g. November

I love Eurostar - bring your own booze and food (they have an onboard shop too). We always have a prosecco breakfast on the way to Paris and French wine, cheese and bread on the way back. It's such a pleasant and stress free journey compared to flying.
I live in London and feel a lot safer at night in Paris than here. Will be good once they open their London to Amsterdam route - hope they do cheap deals on that too.

Im guessing the return will be a ridiculous price as you will need to book that to get the one way price.

No it's same price. Don't bother looking at Paris tho I don't know why they've pretended it's included.
