I agree. I brought the GOTY edition for the 360 for £15 last year.
Yet its more than double that for the same version on the Xbox One but with slightly improved visuals?
Its a rip off especially as you pointed it its a free upgrade for PC users.

There is no deal here at all. It may be the cheapest price for this product but its a terrible offer from bethesda.

The reason its free on the PC is because of the existence of mods. No one would pay for an enhanced edition when you can just mod the game for free to make it look better than either version.
If you don't want to pay for improved visuals then you don't have to.. the original 360 version isn't going anywhere so just keep playing that!

It's the way it is now with all the remasters, not bothered about buying it again as I really love the game but maybe they could of done a little discount on digital copy's if you had any of the ps3 or Xbox 360 dlc linked to your account. They did something like this with dishonored definitive edition.

Nice, I love Skyrim, Played it to death on PC but i never coudl run it very good on an old Dell L502x with 540m graphics, so will love to play it again with nice graphics on my XB1.

It should run at 60fps at high settings with a 540m. Did you change it to run from the dedicated graphics card and not the integrated graphics card?

Already got this bad boy on preorder, which I did walking down Times Square in New York infact. Switched from Sony to Microsoft for the remake seeing as my save game broke on the PS3. Everytime I walked into water the console would crash and I had to hard reset. Ridiculous.

This price from Tesco last week went cold, go figure.
35 pound for a texture update is crazy.
As the game content will be the same and skyrim is backwards compatible they could have rolled it out in a free update.

This along with Borderlands 2 will be the only remaster I will have bought this gen. No issue that it's a mere rehash of visuals as it's only 1 of only a handful of games i miss playing from my 360. All I need now is for ME2 & 3 to become BC and I can dust my X1 down. Since buying a PS4 my X1 has become nothing more than a glorified 360.
I just hope they've fixed the cache issue that plagued the 360. All was swell until they released that house building dlc, then it went pear shaped as far as crashes and freezes were concerned.
