Why are all the shiny/multicoloured cheap, loads of plastic boots that the kids/stupid parents go for always on offer, yet boots made out of quality materials like World cup 90s or copa mundials never on offer? I wonder which ones cost about 50p to make.

In my honest opinion, Nike Astro/FG trainers are superb quality, have a pair that has been used constantly for 2 years and it has minimal wear.

What's the benefit of the expensive versions? Often you can see a "model" of boot with both cheap and expensive versions. Surely it can't matter to performance, at least not for 5-a-siders and sunday leaguers?
