Long time lurker, first time poster, don't hate me too much for posting a e2save deal.
e2save have a load of cashback deals on sim only contracts. Vodafone look the best of the deals
-It is MANUAL cashback to receive a cheque every few months. (the whole process can be done on mobile and they text/email when they get it)
- I know e2save had that pretty crappy mobile 'mis-price' deal, but ive never had an issue with them about cashback.
The link above links to unltd mins/texts and 12gb data for £19.20 pm, working out at £8.50 pm after cashback. I couldnt get a (short!) direct link to the 20GB deal, but scroll down a bit and hit view more deals.
-No mention of Now TV/ Spotify/ Sky so I assume they are not included.
Good deal if you are the sort of person who will go through the cashback process!!!
mods please feel free to edit as appropriate.

Sorry mate, with anyone else this would be a reasonably good deal, but because it's Vodafone, be prepared for it to get very cold... worst mobile service provider on earth!

So I have ordered this deal recently and two major errors on the part of both Mobiles and Vodafone have occurred.
Firstly when mobiles set me up they didn't select the correct tariff meaning that I was charged £37 instead of the reduced amount. To date this hasn't been resolved with each party blaming each other. Mobiles did say that this was a common error. As such if you do take the plunge, do make sure it's on the correct tariff.
Secondly, I signed up to the 12 months free Now TV that is included. After receiving confirmation of sign up, I checked my Now TV account and no voucher had been applied. As such I am still unable to watch Now TV and after 3 phone calls I'm no further forward.
Now there is no doubt that if things go to plan this could be a very good deal. There are just a few hoops and poor companies to deal with.

I had the same thing. You need to login your Nowtv account through Vodafone, using mobile data and not WiFi. You have to text a number and then they send you a link. Hopefully, this helps.

You need to go to this link to activate your selected entertainment: https://offers.vodafone.com/gb/
Was that where you went? Worked fine for me with NOW TV

This is a brilliant offer.
I have used E2Save for a number of years and generally there have been no problems other than an occasional hiccup- you need to keep on top of the cashback claims
However Vodafone has to be the worst ever!!!' Their customer service is AWFUL. I have had so many problems- call them time and time again- get false promises and useless staff- occasionally I have dealt with brilliant staff based in South Africa and Egypt-
I have 4 contracts with Vodafone and I am tempted by this offer....... But if something goes wrong have I got the patience for the rubbish customer service.
The bottom line is, it's great value and be prepared for a headache when things go wrong

8y 30d#11
Still not sorted. Cancelled in the end and went for the three deal. Vodafone said they couldn't amend and it has to be mobiles that send through the amendment.
Ringing mobiles is a bit of a joke. Firstly the number you have to call is an 0871 that's chargeable. Then the advisor on the end on be phone is simply looking to get you off the phone.
May be a better experience for you but if not send in a formal complaint. Or like me go for the three deal.
dave80
8y 30d1#12
I called e2save and they told me they are aware of the problem and the back office team will contact vodafone to arrange the correct tariff. Once that's done they'll call us back (3 working days) and make a conference call with vodafone to make sure it has been applied correctly.
I will update here on what actually happens.

I haven't started my sim yet as I've decided to stick with a retention's deal in the end, but the one I opened yesterday was also saying £32 but that is because it is a £32 product, but Vodafone are doing it at 40% discount at the moment I contacted them about the one I haven't opened yet and got the same response that they are aware of it, but that he has already put in the request for it to be changed/amended...
anyone got a similar deal with a half decent phone thrown in?? don't need the latest and greatest but reliable and decent screen UI

8y 30d#19
I've done several redemptions via e2save, one via mobiles.co.uk and currently have one in process (with 2 claims successful so far) with Smart Phone Company/Mobile Phones Direct. I also know others who have had several contracts with cash back redemption on the go at once without any problems. I think the problems come from not understanding or following the rules to the letter.

Vodafone are so bad. There are many deals on EE and you'll actually be able to use the minutes.
gogboy
8y 29d#22
I've gave this a try and while wasn't impressed to start things not too bad. The wifi call works better than EE, the signal box both do the same. EE 4g is faster in some areas but not all. Thing will just port number as for around a tenner after cashback with sky sports it's not bad.
Let's hope the number swap goes well and no billing horrors.
Anyway to send sky mobile to a tv, know you can't cast. What about a lightning to hdmi or any other solutions

E-2save is a mare for me.
I have the wife's contract with them now and the first 2 cashback went great.
The following 3 were a nightmare, the last one I had to send by post because their web site was accepting my log in details for 3 weeks.
They refused the claim and said I need to do it via online prompt but unable to log on my account.
had to phone them 3 times and waited for more than 30 minutes and they finally accepted it over the phone.
I have one more and my account still shows that my last claim is still under process and I received the check a month ago.
So now until they clear the under process in my account I cannot make my next claim online
A nightmare will never use them again.
By the way I could not e-mail them until I logged on into my account which was faulty for 3 weeks.

Had to speak to 5 vodafone cs staff before they sorted the problem. and even then they said they could only apply the 40% discount for 9 months and that i'd have to re-apply for the discount for the final 3 months after 9 months had passed. Shambles.
salespalace
8y 29d#32
despite the fact that you shouldn't be needing to call them to sort it out, you atleast were able to sort it out after 5 calls. e2save still have not been able to sort anything out for 2 weeks - either they can't or they're not bothered.

I've had similar issues as others regarding the price plan being set up at the wrong price. Mine was showing on the Vodafone bill as £32 instead of £19.20 as signed up for. E2save were aware of the issue and said they would inform their "investigative" team to contact Vodafone, but as of today there was no update and I had my first direct debit taken out for £32.
Decided to contact Vodafone again myself just now via live chat and the guy resolved it straight away! Applied the 40% discount needed and gave me £12.80 credit on my next bill to resolve the issue. Might be worth seeing if the live chat personal will help you if you're still having trouble.

Managed to get mine sorted earlier week too i think by calling Vodafone.
Called Vodafone last week, and they said there wasn't anything they could do, that it has to be done via e2save.
Must not have changed their approach, as Vodafone did it for me a few days back.
When i logon my online account now, and go into the bundles option, it still shows £32 as the monthly rental, but does say underneath it about a 40% discount being applied, so hopefully that's it.
Also, they say they have credited by account with £12.80 for the amount i was overcharged on my 1st bill. (Difference between £32 and £19.20)
Will find out on my 2nd bill on the 17th Sept if they got it right this time, here's hoping.
