your electricity bill is not charged to you in colour temperature and lumens

It isn't irrelevant - it allows you to see how efficient the bulbs are.

box actualy states 5 watts equivalent to old traditional 50watt and these bulbs are a lot brighter and whiter than with what i replaced (35 watt halogen bulbs). loads of boxes at stanley DH9 postcode just fitted 5 bulbs and very pleased with them £7.50 well spent.

I need some of these, so popped to my local to see what they had.. They had loads of boxes of 6, but no 10s.. But just as I was about to leave, I turned around and realised they had a shelf BEHIND me, rammed with boxes of 10..
The price tag said £15, but I took a couple to the checkout and scanned them.. The first went in at 7.50, but the 2nd £15.
Looking at them, they were identical.. But the bar code was different.. I checked all 6 sides of the box and there was nothing obvious.. But then I noticed that the bulbs on one box where white, but silver on the other!
It seems that only the silver are reduced.. The white ones are £15.. I went back to check and there were 30+ boxes of white, but only 2 boxes of silver in stock.. So I got what I need, but it seems they are pretty hard to come by.
So if anyone has already checked and not found them, perhaps check again, and see if they have boxes of silver.

lol watts is the most irrelevant spec - colour temperature and lumens is surely most important. the difference between say 3w and 5w is so negligible and as we all know, with led bulbs wattage does not indicate how bright the bulb will be.

I think it might be more than just the lights that are dimmable:stuck_out_tongue:
Good find.
