The complete eight seasons of the American drama about a Miami police forensics expert who kills those he believes have escaped justice. Dexter (Michael C. Hall) was orphaned at the age of three after the murder of his mother, an incident which appears to have implanted in him a fierce desire to punish those who commit criminal acts. While avoiding suspicion with a genial and helpful professional facade by day, when off-duty Dexter remorselessly hunts down those he believes have escaped the justice of the law and takes his vengeance.

Good price, but I'd like it on Blu Ray. Still no sign of a UK release. Please, someone prove me wrong.

you can buy them individually on Blu-ray, I got them from cex. Probably get them for cheaper than this deal, although secondhand

The 1st 4-5 seasons were up there.
Started declining after that. BB probably got stronger over time
Great TV.

Had the potential to run BB close, but lost momentum toward the end.
BB went out at the top of its game.

Not as good as Breaking Bad, but a few of the seasons are very good. Unfortunately Dexter has a few random seasons that are pretty poor, particularly towards the end. Worth a watch though!

4 great seasons, 3 not so good and one that will make you wish you'd never started watching, it's so bad.

I loved Dexter. I stuck with it but 4 seasons would have been just right. But worth it all for...
These are actually pretty good for PQ, My partner bought this for me and as someone who usually only watches Bluray I was surprised how decent this looked!
This was on a 55" LCD that has good reviews for scaling SD so results may vary!
Anyhow this has been one of the best shows to date, I suggest avoiding the last minute or so of the last episode as the ending would have been better like that IMO.

Or join Netflix and watch them all over two months saving around £8!

Agree with most of the comments. Didn't think the final season was too bad, but I cannot, and will not forgive them for the final episode. Worse than the ending of Lost, and that's saying something.

No chance its as good as breaking bad but very good and worth watching. Seasons 1 and 4 were excellent; 2, 3, 5, 7, good; 6 average; 8 poor. The last episode was ****.

£22.39 + 2.12% TCB...... only about 2 quid cheaper, but cheaper is cheaper.

Good series. I've been watching it on Netflix for a while now - currently at the beginning of Season 7. Definitely £20 worth of entertainment for those who don't have Netflix!
FWIW Michael C. Hall has appeared in 2 of my favourite TV shows this & Six feet under (15 years ago now - wow! Go check it out if you haven't seen it yet!)

I used to love this show. Whenever he was in his white coat - it was so funny.
And his sister going round saying, "what does this button do?"

Yep, seems to be what most others say about this show......
BB probably set the bar too high for anything to top it........ but i'm looking forward to seeing this Dexter and its pretty cheap to buy anyway.

First 4 seasons are great TV. Last 4 might make good frisbees.

They should release a 'viewer's cut' of this series, which just features the first 4 series. Last series is so bad I've blanked it from my mind, with the exception of the 'I'm off on my boat bye!!!!!!!!!!!' part. Also of note, wandering around with a dead body from the hospital while no one notices a thing.

Most say that after Season 4 it goes down hill. I decided to watch on, and for me the show still held up. All seasons are worth watching. Season 5 on wards is still better than most films that come out of Hollywood these days. Heat from me OP.
