That's perhaps a good sign for more stock becoming available via their site, though there's only 10 available to order. I sent a message to their Twitter account about this last night, but with the bank holiday I'm not expecting a reply until Tuesday at the earliest.

Don't buy I am waiting on the Game Special Edition to drop. I got Hitman for £40 with the Statue and many of them are now just £40 suggest just to wait for the drop.

It's really based on stock.
I spoke to the guy in Brighton's Game for about an hour. Wish I got his name. Anyways, he was saying it's really down to how well the product sells. Where it sits on the chart of top 20, and what else is coming out onto the market.
Looking at overwatch, the game still has a huge hype and standard copies are still being sold daily. Not many other games came out at the same time to require the warehouse space so the collectors still sits at £99 from day one.
Doom and Hitman, both games were high in stock but the demand wasn't there. The storage space had to be cleaned up and these had to go. Which lead to the standard copy dropping to sub £30 within a month, and the collectors dropping to £40.
Where this is still new, it could stay at its rrp a while but, I agree it'll drop to sub £60 sometime soon.
As for the game it's self, I sold it on the 2nd day. Just couldn't get into it.

You're taking a gamble on waiting with special editions, as some will just sell out entirely (as mentioned above, supply/demand is the key factor). As a recent example, No Man's Sky, while not received as well as was hoped, is no longer available to buy.

I think No man's sky is an exception with running out of stock. That game has been over hyped since the day it went onto Kickstarter. The passed view months, every week you'd hear something new about No Man's sky. So the demand on that title was pretty much up there, and the stock of collectors would've been pretty slim, compared to a major publisher who has more stock than sense.

I work in marketing an I know if its in demand they will make more. For example if they said there was 50,000 of Doom and they all got sold then they will bring more out. I have Hitman an it said it was limited so where is the number mark on the statue? There's no its all marketing. supply and demand.

No Man's Sky has been back in stock since release day, it was out of stock until release and has been in stock ever since! Obviously can't get rid of them either, GAME stock varies but 365 have it for £64.99. But yeah, I'm calling this dropping to sub £60 soon also, maybe not quite as cheap as Doom or Hitman which I got for under £30 each but I'm thinking £59.99 for a while then £49.99.

To be honest, the CE of this isn't worth half as much as what it sells for. The statue is cheap, badly painted plastic and far too small. Buy the day one edition steelbook. The statue is all you'd really miss from the CE as it has the same DLC as the day one. The art book is 40 pages which in all likelihood will feature in a full size book which you need to pay a further 20-30 quid for later.

There is already a full size art book covering human revolution and mankind divided. Released on the same day as the game. I, too, thought the CE was very light on content for the price so I went the steelbook and art book route.
