Definitely worth £8 for people who still play on the X360/PS3. Guardians can be transferred to the newer consoles.

If you buy this, you can upgrade to the complete edition (Including Rise of Iron) on PS4\XB1 for less than £25 extra. That's a big saving on the £50 asking price on PS4\XB1 atm

I'm getting my buddy to do this at the minute, he's never owned Destiny but wants to get the full package on PS4 - the collection upgrade is 32.99 though, so with this it's costing you £41 instead of the 50, which is still a £9 saving.
Can you use the ps3 version and get the ps4 version for free?

Right so I've ordered the ps3 version, the reason being to redeem the taken king code on the ps3 to then have access to the half price offer on the ps4, will then send the disc off to cex for £5 trade in.

but I've had other codes on the 360 and ps3 that I've been able to be redeemed after the date printed, maybe it's just a sell by this date, really not sure.

Its maybe best to ask the question on the bungie forums to make sure before committing to a last generation copy just to nab the code from it.
