Its always grinding for something mate. If you love destiny, grind is a part of the game. They made it a lot easier in the April update to reach the max light level and get weapons etc, but still getting the right weapon perks, the right armor perks and getting Tier 12 armor is a grind, but thats what is good about it. If the grind was not there there was no fun.
Destiny is also about friends playing together on a strike, coordinating an extensive, tough and unforgiving raid, playing against players in the varied crucible modes in particular mayhem clash :P and having fun all along.
Its a game which will be there for the next 10 years, evolving and getting better. Rise of Iron is big but obviosuly not as big as the taken king. There will be SRL and other events though which will make it still fun even after months
Get it for the offer if you can as its an awesome price for a preorder.
And lets not forget year 1 players will know and feel it better, gallahorn is returning. What can be a better reason to buy destiny again

Depends on the site. Works for me and besides its a 3rd party hosted site so it may get withdrawn.
If it doesnt work suggest you suggest HUKDEALS to start image hosting.
Point I made is valid if people take your advice then they are likely to be in for a dissappointment.
Much the same as I am having with this conversation with you.
Done with this thread.

Rise of Iron is NOT coming to the 360. They have stopped supporting DLC ON legacy consoles now. This purchase is for legacy (360) owners to get everything on the One for a discounted price so they don't need to repurchase everything again at full price.

I've put way too much money into this game, and despite hardly playing anymore, I still bought this for £24, I bought the base game for £33 way back when, then bought the Expansion Pass for £35, then bought The Taken King for £37, and this for £24, which totals £129... but I now have 2 base games on disc, 1 digital copy of the base game, and all the dlcs digitally too, I've just given my base games to my friends to get them into it, lots of content, even without the dlc but there's little to no story in the base game..., good co-op, but a huge annoying grind at first, if you can get the Collection for £24 it's definetely worth it

Spark I am looking at it from within the XBOX one app.
If you search for "destiny the collection" there are two results.
The discounted price quoted is for XBox 360.
Buy £33.19 (this is strike through) £23.99
The format is mentioned in the first line of the DESCRIPTION

It shows up on the Xbox One app. It wouldn't do that if it was a 360 game unless it was on the BC list (which it isn't).
The confirmation email I have from the purchase doesn't include a format reference but if I click the product link in it then it goes straight to this page and this page says Xbox One.
My guess is that this is an incentive to get 360 Destiny players to make the jump now that Activision and Bungie want nothing to do with the 360 anymore. Why it is available to some people and not others is a mystery but I think using your Gold GT on a 360 would probably have something to do with it.

Spark,
When I go onto the xbox app and review the offer it specifically says for the xbox 360.
Cant paste you an image in this forum
There is no way they would release the full pack including rise of iron for less than the pre-order price.
The mistake I think that has been made by Microsoft is they have copied the expansion pack details from XBOX one across to XBOX 360. Therefore it details Rise of Iron which as you noted is not going to be availalble on XBOX 360.
Sucks but I guess you can argue with Microsoft.

Destiny works in years. It is more like an MMO than a traditional game in most aspects and Activision have a 5 year plan for it presently and it could even go beyond that. There was no way that a £35 one-off purchase was going to get you all of the expansions for 5 years or more. What wasn't cool though was how they nerfed copies of the original game last year.
It would be the same story with The Division and Rainbow 6: Siege if anybody actually gave a toss about either of those games.

The people behind destiny know full well people who play it all the time will pay for what ever content they release of face the fear of being left behind from their friends, I will jump back on it when the dlc releasing has dried up and wait for a complete edition.

It can't be because the DLC that launches next month and that this includes will not be released on the 360.

Bare in mind this is only XBOX 360 and should be part of this thread title.
This is a good offer if you have a legacy console but as a user of XBOX One there is no point ordering this.
However the XBOX one version of the same is £50.
Note as of last night the XBOX 360 and XBOX one chanels split so to be honest they are giving this away on xbox 360
If you have never played this game before then this is a steal.
I have year 1 disc and year 2 which cost £40 each and now the offer is inclusive of the year 2 expansion pack Rise of Iron DUE IN SEPTEMBER.
Its also noteworthy that you get a level 40 boost (one) with 3 possible characters to play with so you will need to grind from level 0-40 on the remaining characters. I would say about 1-2weeks solid game play per character to level up.
This is pretty much the only game I play on Xbox One and is very addictive.

I'll wager that's it. This pack is designed to entice 360 players because Destiny on 360 is losing support. Its probably only available to those who used Live on the 360.
