Destiny - The Collection contains every release from the award-winning first-person
shooter franchise to date. It’s a great way for Guardians to embark on journeys they
may have missed, as well as a perfect starting point for new players who want to join
the Destiny community.
Destiny – The Collection includes:
Destiny: Rise of Iron
The wall which stood for centuries along the southern border of Old Russia has collapsed,
a battle-scorched reminder that our enemies still seek to destroy us all. Fallen mutants
now scavenge the tombs of the Golden Age, and the plague they have unearthed in the
wastes is more dangerous than even they understand. Join Lord Saladin. Journey into
The Plaguelands. Learn the fate of the Iron Lords and stop the growing threat before it is
too late.
Destiny: Rise of Iron also includes:
• Level 40 Character boost to bring your Guardian’s level up to Rise of Iron
• New Strike and redesigned fan-favorite Strikes
• New six-player Raid
• New enemy faction
• New competitive maps and a new 6v6 mode, Supremacy
• More quests, weapons, armor, and gear to earn
• Light Level increase
Destiny: The Taken King
A dark shadow has fallen over our worlds. Oryx, The Taken King, is hell-bent on vengeance and
is raising an army of corrupted “Taken” forces by manipulating the Darkness itself. You must
find a way into his impenetrable Dreadnaught ship to defeat The Taken King before he and his
dark army consume our civilization and bring our solar system to ruin.
Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves
Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves expands your Destiny adventure with a wealth of new
weapons, armor and gear to earn in new story missions and quests, three new competitive
multiplayer maps and a new co-op Strike. Additionally, House of Wolves introduces a brand new
competitive multiplayer event in the Crucible called Trials of Osiris, and a brand new co-op arena
activity called the Prison of Elders. The Guardians have grown strong, and now the Queen of the
Awoken has called upon them to hunt down the House of Wolves, Fallen subjects once loyal to the
Queen before their violent rebellion. Meet with the Queen’s emissaries at the Reef. Hunt down
their Fallen betrayers. Earn your rewards. Become Legend.
Destiny Expansion I: The Dark Below
The first expansion to the Destiny universe, Destiny Expansion I: The Dark Below features allnew
weapons and gear to earn through new story missions told through a new character, a new
cooperative Strike, a new six-player Raid, and three new competitive multiplayer arenas.
After years hiding amongst the Hive shadows, a new character, Eris Morn, has come forth bearing
an ominous warning: the Hive seek to summon a god, Crota, to destroy Earth. Find Eris in the
Tower to take on new quests that feature three new missions and new rewards.
Destiny
In Destiny you are a Guardian of the last city on Earth, able to wield incredible power. Explore
the ancient ruins of our solar system, from the red dunes of Mars to the lush jungles of Venus.
Defeat Earth’s enemies. Discover all that we have lost. Become legend.

Well for starters who are complaining that people who bought this game 2 years ago when the game was launched followed by various dlcs are at loss, you do realise that you are talking about 2 years here.
2 years with destiny is worth much more than the cost of the dlcs. We have had so much fun especially the raids and poe that anyone whos joining now will not have the same experience et all.
2 years down the line even games that cost £50 come down to a few pounds so thats how the whole game industry works. You cant expect a game to hold its value after 2 years without dlcs etc :-)
This is a wonderful game and whoever buys this will have a hell lot of fun and enjoy the rise of iron package coming in september.
Just so everyone knows the Rise of Iron Dlc is different from the Iron banner special event that happens every month in destiny :-)

What a kick in the teeth this package is for anyone who's shelled out a ton of money already on the game. A couple of years later and you can get everything including the new DLC for £35! Still, can't fault Activision and Bungie as some clever marketing and starving the community has worked wonders :sunglasses:

good deal
to the guy who wants to sell their copy of the taken king - it's a good idea, but essentially without the download codes it's only worth the same amount as a vanilla copy of destiny which is currently about £5-6 (a bargain really as private matches are coming to all next gen copies of destiny)
in terms of activision ripping people off by reselling this addition at a cheaper price - this is just a catch up package applicable to people who haven't got the taken king - for the large majority of the player base - this collection will be irrelevant - for those wanting to join in, it's very reasonable to have all of the content in one place (although as mentioned the heart of most of the previous expansions kind of move on per expansion - still lots of missions, strikes, events, game modes and crucible maps though) - the expansion system is kind of similar to that of mmos where a new dlc will bring new content and the older content becomes less relevant as a result
so for me i bought the vanilla game for £32 spent £25 on the expansion pass £30 on taken king and £21.50 now on rise of iron - so just shy of £110 for the 2-3 year thing - so essentially the cost of 3 reasonably priced games - i don't feel ripped off or salty about paying this much and i have really enjoyed my time playing through the different phases in destiny, the different metas, different raids and the ups and downs of the game
there has been a little bit of extra free content separate to the paid dlc - but nothing ground breaking - festival of the lost, sparrow racing league, the valentine themed event thing and the april update
in answer to the other thing i saw on here - destiny 2 is likely to be released september 2017 but there has been no cemented announcements made yet - rise of iron is set to be the last formal paid dlc before destiny 2
incidentally just got my first ldr 5001 after like 4 months :P (and a decent imago loop too)

I preordered digital on Ps4 then 20 for each dlc I gave up on buying the king dlc. If they offered a discount back then I would have continued. I put loads of hours into the game had about 6 galahorns and rinsed all the raids. Cannot justify buying this. Besides it gave me time to play other games

Unless you have a solid group of friends to carry out Raids, you'll be missing out a chunk of this game. Why matchmaking Raids can't be an option for those not fortunate to have a decent group is beyond me.
abhijitdash123 to Poch
23 Aug 16#30
Matchmaking is not in raids and end game content to avoid stupid people joining the game and leaving while you are about to kill the boss. If there was matchmaking you would have no control over the quality of people joining in, if they are kids who dont listen or adults who are too drunk to listen and so on.
There are numerous lfg sites for destiny (eg. destinylfg.com & destinylfg.net) to help you find a group or people who are doing the same activity as you. Its so simple to just message someone and join or post a game and wait for people to join in. Its that simple.
Obviously, this game is for people who have to put some effort. This is not for the lazy ones who dont want to do anything to play a game or busy people who have other important things to do in life.

Great price, I remember when I got Destiny for ps3 in May of last year for about £15 off amazon (I didn't know anything about it or that there was going to be so much dlc).
I absolutely loved it, the thrill of playing VoG each week hoping for an exotic weapon or good gear (Fatebringer, VoC, PR, so many good guns) had me hooked.
But with the ps3 running out of memory and TTK around the corner I sold it on to CeX for £13 credit last September.

23 Aug 161#16
Damn that really sucks.
Oh I already knew that and and was playing by myself since the beginning. None of my friends play the game and it was far too much hassle to try get a group going, especially one that stuck with it. I managed to get groups going for the first raid which turned out to be stressful to organise. People never joining and not enough players coming on. Never got to play any of the other Raids. So played the rest of the game by myself the best I could so it makes no difference to me about playing in it's prime or playing it later when it's cheaper, I'd be playing alone no matter what. I would enjoy playing in it's prime better if there was matchmaking for those Raids. It's only good for people that actually have the friends to play with and those on my friends list that do play it, they have friends of their own they join which I could never join.
CoolDude0123
23 Aug 16#11
Great price. I knew I should have waited for this rather than get The Taken King edition. At the time I was 50/50 on what to do so went for The Taken King. Lesson learnt! Won't be buying Destiny again until it comes to whatever the final edition is right before the next game. So Destiny 2 will be bought before Destiny 3 is being released.

What do you think happens to games 1-2 years after release? If you actually play the game you'll know all previous dlc becomes useless and you're going to either, get no time out if previous content or you'll do the old content and get items you'll never use and make no progress. Plus you'll really struggle to consistently find people to do it with unless you're with a new group of people. Buying it early gives you the experience of actually playing the content in its prime when its meaningful and the current end game.

they should have just made destiny 2 now. crazy another dlc pack, I already have all the rest of the game, will probably just hang on this time for the new dlc to come down in price rather than selling the disk and RE buying again !!! if they want people to start playing again who have the games but stopped playing this scheme isn't very good.
great deal if you don't have any though

Money machine? This includes the new iron banner game. Responding to your original comment it's not been repackaged when it includes the new game. The Taken King is £20 on Tesco Direct if you want that and buy iron banner later and it's going to cost more.
There are people yet to jump on board this game and anybody who has played it will agree there is a lot of game at this price.
For people who do have the previous then the upgrade is £22.99 on the Xbox Store and £32.99 on the PSN store.
