Hmmm, I must have been extremely unlucky then, because I've only bought just that one 5L bottle from B&M (I usually buy the 80 wash 3L bottles from Tesco when they were on offer prior to that) and as previously mentioned by the deal poster above, my B&M bottle says it only does 45 washes :disappointed:

I use it to the max line in the softener compartment. I have read the other comments and checked my bottle again and it's defo 145 wash like the one in Iceland. I always buy these at the £5 mark. More than that and I won't buy as its over my budget. I'm a hoarder and I use these all the time.

Did you read the other comments above about the B&M one? It says on their 5L bottle that it only does 45 washes (or only 35 washes for a 6-7kg load) I'm not sure if it's some kind of labeling error or not because it also states that you have to use 140ml per wash and that sounds way too much to me.I don't know about you but I couldn't fit 140ml in the fabric softener compartment of any machine that I've ever had. Not even a fraction of that.

Seriously? (I'm not the original poster you replied to) but is that real and not some kind of printing error in the factory, and that's the reason why they've ended up in the B&M discount store? I bought one of these from there a couple of months ago and have just checked the bottle and it does indeed say 45 washes on the bottle but it says 'Professional'. But then when you actually check the per use table it appears to say to use 140ml per wash for 6-7kg washing machines. Which works out at only 35 washes. Wondered why I'd been favouring another brand over this one recently. I always bought the 3 litre 80 wash bottles of it from the supermarkets prior to buying that bigger one. I just naturally figured that this would do the per litre equivalent. I've a good mind to take it back to B&M and tell them to stick it. A bloody fiver for 35 washes. Robbing so&so's.

not bad, for benchmarking purposes (no need for timemachine 'gags'!) that tesco deal came out at £4 / litre recently when they did their comfort(4Lts) at half price (£8 -->£4)

I just bought 4l for £4 from Poundland, of all places!
if you want to get 142 washes out of the above, you have to use 35.2112676056ml each time, I doubt even the most OCD folk would have trouble getting that right!
