ok, for the people that does not have the card, they register you on the spot and give a day pass. Great deal on these tomatoes and they expire end 2018. The My John Lewis is not accepted

You need to register them as being one of your myWaitrose card Pick Your Own choices. You can do this on the Pick Your Own phone app or at customer services in the shop.

If you have a free My Waitrose card, you can then pick - and change quite often - 20 items which you will then get 20% off at the till. You can even change them instore on a terminal at customer services, it is immediate, I've done that. There are several hundred to choose from and they are changed occasionally. One more benefit of the scheme - if something is on multi-buy when you buy two and you have it as a Pick (9-pack toilet rolls for example), after the multi-buy discount you then get 20% off the normal single price

Used to buy these and Napolina at Tesco whenever they were about 50p/tin, until I noticed M&S sell an own-brand four pack for £1.33.
