I was surprised by this too, I have a Chromecast and a family member has a "proper" BT Sport subscription and gets the cast button in the app, but with my free EE subscription I don't.

You can still cast your whole device's screen to your TV, you can't use the phone while you do this but it's acceptable.

This deal is great in price terms, but actually getting the chromecast is a nightmare. You get given a code to redeem in the google store, first it didnt deduct anything from the amount in the cart then it said the code had already been redeemed. Went on google store chat and they couldnt help at all and referred me to Wuaki to resolve it. Wuaki dont even have a chat feature for help and you have to email them... Don't bother with this crap, not worth the hassle.

Chromecast audio? Anyone knows a good deal to get that amazing chromecast audio?

I went for the previous deal. Was easy. Purchased, got code, went to Google store, put Chromecast in basket, entered code, arrived 5 days later.

Heat. Would've saved a few pounds waiting. My third one. Shouldn't be lower priced than this.

I tried it, signed up and got the code. Went to purchase the Chromecast from Google's site, but when I entered the code, it says it's invalid. Tried again and it goes it's already been used?

These are great. very easy to set up, superb picture and audio. You can cast with one click from phone, PC/Mac or tablet playing Youtube video.

Just also found out that you can MKV stream movies to your TV though it by just opening the file in the Chrome browser and clicking 'cast' . - needs the Chromecast extension though first.

Hi, please help this is driving me crazy. I have the issue that you mentioned, however there is no link in the email they sent. The Mrs keeps shouting down, "do you know what time It is"? I've just looked and had no idea I'd spent 3hrs trying.

The link didn't accept the code on the first go for me but later it did deduct
the £ which is displayed below it, good luck and turn email notifications off, lol

The email from wuaki states " this is your promotional code" copy code then under this highlighted in yellow is "get your chromecast" which for me was my link that I pasted code to, that worked after a few attempts, good night and good luck!

this works great. i almost **** up by trying to order the "lemon" chromecast with the provided code. it said that the code couldn't be used on that item. then i tried to redeem the code again and it said the code had already been redeemed.

do not worry - remove the badly coloured variety from your basket and add a black one. hit the checkout and you'll see that the price is updated to include the discount.

tl;dr: DO NOT USE THE CODE TO GET A YELLOW / RED CHROMECAST. CHOOSE BLACK.

Yeah I assumed they would limit it to black only after all that's what Google would have most stock of but I still tried to get a yellow one first :disappointed:

I've got several Chromecasts I no longer use. Loved them when they first came out but, over time, I've discovered that devices like Amazon Fire TV are far easier to use due to proper remote controls.

I don't really want to use my phone for everything and it's far easier to just click through apps on your TV and press play.

Cheers, love my Chromecast 1 so looking forward to getting this one. I got my code as soon as I completed the Wuaki checkout, went to Google store, added the Chromecast to the basket, entered the code and it said it was invalid. All I had to do was remove the Chromecast, add it again then at the checkout the Wuaki code was already applied. I think the issue is that Google currently have a £5 discount and the code isn't compatible with the initial clickthrough? Anyway, it all went through on the 2nd try.

can the amazon stick/fire tv stuff do bt sport?

So I entered the code and my address details and it didn't deduct, removed everything from my basket, and closed the browser, then went back added it again to the basket and the code had been automatically added and ready to confirm the purchase. Maybe this will help someone

But that's not the same as the direct feed your chromecast gets. The chromecast feed is amazing, the phone to TV feed not so much.
