personally for young babies I have always went for isofix. I bought this seat for my 4 year old to use as a highback booster with harness.

and to confuse things further most of the safest seats aren't iSize compliant!! - those that have passed the Swedish Plus Test are the safest on the market.
In addition to that, isofix seats (with exception of one) are only capable of rear facing to 18kg, so you're better off getting a erf belted seat with a weight limit of 25kg.

lol :smile: suitable for 9-36kg, approx 10 months to 11 years old, not a lot of other baby gear will last you until secondary school will it, you would have to question the ergonomics of this surely? I'm just trying to think of one other thing that was fine when I had only just stopped crawling yet was just as good when I could beat my dad at cricket.

As someone who has had to navigate through the minefield that is children's car seats recently.. the following links are useful:
I was reading the NCAP safety ratings for, for example, the Skoda Fabia Mk2.
Children rear facing up to 18 months.. top safety rating.
Children up to 4 front facing (isofix) - mediocre safety rating.
I have had a non-isofix car up until recently, so I understand a belted seat can be essential for some parents, so I'm not judging, but, if you can afford it and have isofix, get an i-size compliant, rear-facing childseat.. but to confuse things further, not all rear-facing seats are i-size compliant.

Good price, although recommend Evolva 123 plus. More padding the little one to sit on.
