Keep sitting on the fence trying to justify replacing my NIMH Dewalt (725) and this has me sorely tempted... Esp as its about £40-£50 cheaper than most places never mind the free battery!
Purchase this product and receive a free 18v 4.0Ah Li-ion Battery worth £64.96. To claim your free Battery, simply click this link: http://www.boschsimplymorepower.com
-----
The combi drill and batteries are about £170 ish alone (this is wireless hence premium) so the inclusion of impact driver is a bargain for £20
Then add to that the current battery offer from Bosch available for this setup and get a free 4ah battery to boot!
Same pack with 2x4ah is £300 (non wireless) and this is about £240 in most places.
6% Quidco too!
Refer a Friend - 5% discount code brings it down to £190  - 35Y426G
Full disclosure, I will get credit of my next order too but we both win
- Just to add had confirmation from Bosch that me free battery will be dispatched in 10 days after making claim this morning.
-- price increased to 219 so best price is £208 using code at moment ---

Having registered before the end of the promotion, I called them up (after promotion had finished) to ask on the whereabouts of my battery. 'System Issues' meant that my registration would not have gone through automatically. They gladly rectified, and battery received in 3-4 days after that. Definitely give them a call.

Would you believe it does not fit the case! Works fine with tools but wont fit either attached to drill or in the corner slots :disappointed: Just left it attached to battery charger in middle...

Do you have a bit in it. Mines was back so far out it rattled but was fine once secured on a drill piece.

so received my kit today and the combi sounds kind of weird. where you have the bit/dril lock and turn it by hand it makes a little bit of noise (like a ratchet) but when you power drive it is very noisy.
screwfix unit was silent almost in comparison..
hows yours?

No referrals ever tracked and they stopped replying to me asking about this. Drill I got looks to be very early last year. Ordered a multi tool for spare battery but wasn't aware they don't fit certain items?!

Good deal, just a note that Bosch don't readily mention the 4ah wireless battery does not fit all of it's equipment.

Also for those who have received them, what date of manufacture do you have on your drill etc?

They sent the wrong drill (18V combi drill only) and no wireless stuff, so that has to go back. Really annoyed, as it's stopped me doing what I was going to do this weekend!

Friends referral isnt worth a toss as have not got anything through and when querying now told they dont offer credit!? - pointed out their site is false advertising then.
At any rate at least those using it gets something off the purchase :stuck_out_tongue:

I do have a question if someone can help? The free 4AH battery offered from Bosch, will this be 'wireles's also? If not, will it be chargeable through the charger or adaptor provided in the original deal?Thank you.

Its a wirelsss battery also I believe from reading the T&Cs which list both normal 4AH and 4AH W so expect they will base this on the unit you have which you confirm on the reg page

akscooby I used your code. Thank you. Placed it in basket this morning and the price remained as it was then which was handy. My refer code is 833RE4B if anyone wants 5% off or use OPs code to credit him for finding deal.
Any idea how long Quidco may take to track?

These are the Bosch "Blue" range, and used by tradesmen, whose livelihoods depend on the quality of their tools and a lot better than the "Green" range, which is for your average DIY-er

Is this better than the Makita deals which popped up recently? Roughly same price, same voltage, same number of batteries. I guess I am asking if Bosch is considered as highly for battery power tools by professionals and enthusiasts?
