I've just spotted this elsewhere and thought i'd share it as it seems to be a well received microphone with 50% off. I was tempted to put it in gaming as a YouTube accessory.
Designed to combat the most common pitfalls of recording, Nessie automatically adapts to whatever you’re recording, applying professional studio processing combined with a built-in pop filter and internal shockmount, to produce expertly finished sound, without the need for additional mixing or editing. Just as the latest point-and-shoot cameras will reduce redeye and automatically adjust focus and exposure for improved photos, Nessie professionally enhances audio so that you get polished music demos, podcasts, interviews, YouTube broadcasts and more, instantly!
Hope this helps.

Finally received absolutely mine in a disgusting, grotty and tatty box. The mute button on the unit itself has also caved in.
Quite obviously a customer return, a faulty one at that.
Certainly not up to Amazon's usual standards seeing as this was sold as brand new product. :disappointed:

I wasn't sure, Im not that clued up on current blue mics right now.
I'd personally still use pop filter with it lol, nothing worse than a bad sounding mic when watching a video.
The blue snowball omni is terrible without a pop filter if your to close as it picks up everything.

If this is anything like the blue snowball I've got, make sure you buy a pop filter.
I did a video the other day for YouTube and loads of my subs said I was popping lol.
For the sake of £3-4 its well worth getting a pop filter to kill the nasty pops when you say certain words and letters, makes your videos so much better for people.

Headsets pick up breathing noises and are rarely cardioid based, unless you buy one just for that.
We all recommend them for playing games, unless you're in a noisy room anyway.
