Not intended as shock humour, merely a riposte to the absurd notion that childbirth makes you any better than anyone else. Stretch marks are not tiger stripes and C section scars are no more a badge of honour deserving of respect than a tracheotomy scar.
Real respect should go to all those who despite enormous cultural pressure to reproduce decide that there are quite enough humans on this planet.

Respect for anyone who is put in a position whereby they have to endure the considerable abdominal trauma that a C-section involves to safeguard the life of another (irrespective of whether pregnancy/childbirth is a biological function)
