This 10-part HBO television miniseries focuses on Easy Company, a group of American soldiers in World War II, tracking their experiences from the beginning of boot camp to the end of the war. Anchored by actors Damian Lewis and Ron Livingston, the series gives detailed attention to their experiences as a group, as well as the way that each of them develops individually. Based on historian Stephen E. Ambrose's book of real-life accounts, Band of Brothers was executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who worked together on Saving Private Ryan.
Good price for such an amazing series. Time to rewatch it again :smiley:

Did you buy it from Amazon? They used to have a price difference policy unofficially - give them a chat on the Online chat and see what they will do for you..

One of THE best mini series ever produced and don't think there will be another one to beat this in my generation (although I also loved The Pacific). On bluray it is simply stunning to match the superb series! A must buy!
Definitely have heat from me, seen this a few times now and recently finally watched the pacific too which is also amazing

I don't buy Bly-Ray's anymore, but I've just bought this. What a great tv show, I can't wait to watch it again. It's worth owning and not relying on Netflix for. Thank OP

I was in the episode directed by Tom Hanks which showed the liberation of France. I played a French peasant in 3 scenes. It was filmed in an old Rolls Royce factory in Hertfordshire using green screen to make it look like Paris. The extras weren't allowed to associate with the main cast but I had a scene with Damian Lewis and was able to exchange a few words with him and found him to be friendly and very nice. It was a good scene which involved him watching a Punch & Judy show but it didn't make the final cut. Thanksfully, my other 2 scenes were included in the episode when it was broadcast. We filmed most of it in the middle of the night from about midnight to 4am, over 2 days.
