these should be worn on the beach, even in the shade, as sand reflects 15% of the Suns UV radiation

Will they not encourage the baby to look at the sun? If the baby doesn't have sunglasses it can't look at the sun, because it's the sun. But with these, the child might continue trying?
I get what your saying but I always try to keep the sun out my kids eyes anyway. Just for when I'm outside in the shade he's always squinting when it's bright so thought it's worth a go.
