Paris, 1789. The French Revolution turns a once magnificent city into a place of terror and chaos. Its cobblestoned streets run red with the blood of commoners who dare to rise up against an oppressive aristocracy. Yet as the nation tears itself apart, a young man named Arno will embark upon an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers behind the Revolution. His pursuit will throw him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation, and transform him into a true Master Assassin.
Introducing Assassin's Creed Unity, the blockbuster franchise's new chapter powered by the all new Anvil engine, rebuilt from the ground up for next gen. From the storming of the Bastille to the execution of King Louis XVI, experience the French Revolution as never before, and help the people of France carve an entirely new destiny.

Once they patched this I thought it was a great game, Paris looked outstanding, the life on the streets was astonishing and it had some great missions and the free DLC was also superb. In my opinion, despite all the flak it took it was easily better than 3 and brotherhood and held my attention more than Syndicate. £1.49 is insane.

These originally came bundled with Xbox One Assassin's Creed bundle, CDKeys then bought the codes and obviously just trying to offload them at this point.

Game had a-lot of problems which were widely published at release (For the record I played it then and still enjoyed it), so I think many have avoided it since. It's been heavily patched since then, and it runs far far better. It was also a bit of a step back gameplay wise from Black Flag and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as Assassin's Creed Pirate Simulator, but it's easily worth £1.49 of anyone's money (Well... unless you hate Assassin's Creed....).

Coz -- 1) you cannot trade it like CD 2) You need to have good internet speeds to download It !
Is this active? I just add it to my basket and then it says it is empty.

Completely agree. I bought it a while back and I'm playing it at the moment and I'm really enjoying it. I think it has a great atmosphere and don't understand why people still criticise it (not speaking about launch problems). I suppose gamers love to hate certain games (Watch Dogs, Master Chief Collection, etc.).

Agree too, it's a nice solid game. Likable enough character and it continues the "story". Problem is, yes they fixed the glitches but the gameplay/controls were/still are horrendous compared to Black Flag. It's as if the controls are way too sensitive, you're constantly compensating with the joysticks....that's the only way I can describe it.
That aside though, if you can cope with this (or don't notice it) it's a great game, difficulty has increased but if this bothers you there's a "hack" which can almost turn it to easy mode. There's a crazy number of stories and side missions......worth the price indeed.
About that hack, which isn't really a hack. If anyone finds the combat hard compared to the others, well explore the most "difficult" neighbourhoods in Paris first, find the chests which give loads of money and you can then buy weapons which are well OP for the normal game up till nearly the end mission. Oh and unlock heavy one handed attack soon as poss.
Happy playing

Remember that to get the FB discount you need to make an account with CDkeys, unless they stopped that requirement.

Not played this game before (wouldn't normally purchase an Assassin's Creed title) but even without the discount code £1.49 is a steal
