If the "active" ingredient is Permethrin, I wouldn't bother. Ants in my garden seem completely immune. Just sprinkle them with Homepride for effect.

Just what I need right now. Was cutting some timber on the lawn and got bitten by god knows what they were red ants or fire ants but it was like being poked with a red hot needle. I could still feel the burn the following day.
