Hope these carrots are better than what saw recently in the newer Aldi of 2 in my town. They were slimy and rotten on the sheilf and were in date. A crate full.
Did report it to assistant store manager and to her credit she got them removed.
But got to ask why they were left on the shelf. Standards in this branch have gone down in my eyes.

I've been an Aldi shopper for over a decade. Never took to Lidl - don't think the quality is high enough and the store nearest me is a horror. But standards in my two local Aldi branches are slipping and products across the range are not as good as they were.
In the past nine-twelve months I've been doing more and more of my shopping at Sainsbury's.

I shop @ ALDI And LIDL. My Local Aldi is top notch, I've never had an issue with any Fruit or Veg OR the quality of them.
My local Store is Polmont & Linlithgow.
Same goes for LIDL. I think this is simply down to individual stores and managers and staff working in them.
I rarely goto the big 4 supermarkets now, as they are simply more expensive for everything on the shelf & this adds up more over the months shopping bill with 5 in my family.

Agreed! when the salad stuff was on, the taste of the stuff was awful. So, when I ran out, I bought some stuff at tesco, ok cost a bit more, but so much better. Sainsbury's is good too. Shame about Aldi, I've been a shopper for the last 6 years and I noticed it going down hill the last year.

I've just seen an add which shows super 6 at 39p not 49p but either way It's worth checking out.
I've always found Aldi carrots better quality than Lidl but the cauliflowers from Aldi don't keep well. However you look at it for 39p or 49p you can buy them and use them within a few days.
Opening post

- Cauliflower
- Snack Pack Grapes (170g)
- Chantenay Carrots (500g)
