My neighbours both work at aldi and said most of the stuff to be reduced is stock already reduced in stores, and that there's not much worth bothering with. Holding out to see what's online as there's likely to be better offers there to clear out warehouse

In store they have changed the reduced signs to summer sale up to 50% off signs. Nothing new in my store.

Nothing - looks as if Aldi have started conning people, Tesco-style.

A few bits and pieces in store, nothing worth shouting about though. More like a slightly extended reduced section.

The reductions on their website were there before. I can't see any evidence of this Summer sale on there. :laughing::laughing::laughing:

Hot. The 'sale' page doesn't show anything apart from the promo advert, but the reduced prices show on the special buys page. Just ordered a wildlife camera for £49.99. Had considered getting one at the original price £69.99.

Nothing reduced in my local Aldi and the staff member I found didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Guess it's not all Aldi stores

Not OP's fault but like most coments here this is not a sale just remarketing same stock and most of the stuff online that says in store only to get you there will not be available till next years weekly special buys see links just a couple of many. Avoid any special trips down for the "SALE"

a load of rubbish i was looking forward to this so i put alarm on to get up. i was in local by 9:00 looked aroud everthing was same as 2 days ago i saw a manager and asked about the 1st september sale she did not have a clue about it. then i rang customer services they told me not every store is doing it only stores that have over stock and you can't phone directly to ask what they have. so its a wild goose chase like tesco style i even said to her its a good way to get sales for other items.

the reduced offers are ones they do all year round there does be good stuff but this sale i don't agree with.

Were these 'reduced price' items ever sold at the 'was' prices shown? Anybody buy them at those prices? :neutral_face:

I just checked the special buys online. Nothing seems reduced. Where it is reduced it is already sold out.

Not sure why this is expired, still going on in store. Loads of good reductions in store and better than the reduction online. I got an electric grater for £13
