No, but if you watch a lot of Sport with Solid backgrounds you will notice but agree there is no perfect LED screen.

I'm a bit OCD like that. Once you notice it your eyes are just drawn to it. There is a picture online which tests the gray screen uniformity. Put it on a memory stick and try it in a shop if on display. Shows how well the thing is put together.

I think you'll see some slight problems with uniformity on most thin edge-lit TVs. I can only see it when viewing a plain grey image on my Sony TV. I don't spend too many hours watching a blank grey screen so it doesn't really bother me.

Surround sound with a sub makes movies so much more immersive than any tv picture can. Forget built in speakers on any tv and treat yourself to proper sound if you can!

Slim design comes at a cost. Smaller output speakers and less space to house them in and then consider that they face away from you in a lot of new sets.

Cant find it in stock anywhere around the North West. Any clues?

Just a word of warning for anyone who is as OCD as me. You can visibly make out the backlight panel support when the screen shows white (you'll see a series of large faint crosses on the screen on any white scenes). Unfortunately it bugged me enough to return.
Other than the above the picture quality really is excellent for the money though, and if the above doesn't bother you then it's well worth it.

It's a great TV. Almost at the £249 we paid AO via eBay when there was a PayPal promotion.
