Do more, wherever you are
This popular Android phone features a bright and sharp 3.5” screen, great for watching videos and keeping in touch with friends, but also compact enough to sit happily in your pocket. It easily keeps up with the most demanding user and for even more speed, mini apps on the home screen allow you to control your music, take notes and get a snapshot of all your important stuff without opening up the apps.

Great find! Ordered via quidco for £9 cashback. BTW you don't have to choose a pack - you can just select £20 topup at the bottom of the page.

Same offer as the Black Friday deal last year. You can retain whole £20 credit, if you text 'STOP PACK' to 150 as soon as you activate the SIM.

Worked this time. Don't know which made the difference as I made 2 changes at once:
* Deliver to work instead of store pickup (don't want to take a day off just to be present at home with my ID!)
* Paid with Visa instead of AMEX (claims they support AMEX but wouldn't surprise me if this killed it)

Anyone else had this? No explanation or anything.

Is this phone good enough to play Pokemon Go?

This question gets posted on every cheap phone thread!
Most probably no.
Might be easier to do this the other way around - find out what phone spec is needed to play it reasonably well (as you seem to be on a budget, which is fair enough), then go phone hunting.
You should be able to get this info from the app developer's site &/or their forums.

So let me get this straight guys...for just a one-off payment of £20 (nothing more), you'll get:
+ This phone + £20 PAYG credit (which you can use on G'Play if you wish) + 3 months free Google Play music (remember to cancel before the 4th month) + Potentially £9 Quidco (not guaranteed of course) - Pay 99p to unlock the phone via eBay (if you want to)
So you pay £20 (credit for txt, calls, data) for the phone, then you can unlock/sell the phone, get the google music trial and spend the £20 credit in the play store instead on calls, etc.
How do you spend the £20 credit in the play store if it's against your ee account on the sim? Does it show as a payment method?

Do you pay £20 as a topup to get the phone and get 3 months google play music for free (ok if you use it) or is it £20 topup then £9.99 x3 of google credit that they want you to use on google music but can actually be used on anything in the play store?
chancooluk to KTF

You get £20 worth of EE mobile credit (as long as you text 'STOP PACK' to 150). The Google Play Music offer is just a 3-month free trial, which you will then be charged £9.99 for if you go into a fourth month without cancelling.
You won't get 3x £9.99 added to your Google wallet, its a free trial, not free money. Although you will be able to use the £20 credit on the SIM to buy things from Google Play.

No, you can't transfer credit. You could simply sell the SIM card though.

Excellent deal! Have ordered one and will put the credit towards my Playstation wallet then keep the phone as a backup.
I presume this is the 4009X model, for which CEX are offering £18 unlocked or £13 EE (both A grade), so definitely worth grabbing one of those 99p unlock codes.

Just tried to order this deal (for the free phone) and was rejected and it wouldn't have been because of credit checks. Must be only allowing people who have never bought cheap phones of them in the past to get this deal. :disappointed:
