Posted a few weeks ago but thanks for reposting as it reminded me I wanted to order a second one. Last time I ordered they had electrical tape for under 20p in all sorts of colours. Always comes in handy and takes you over the free delivery threshold.

I have bought several pieces and they have been all cheap and nasty including a plug in two way adaptor.
Yeah plug it in and forget it until you are woken up by smoke,alarms and blue flashing lights outside your house I will not be filling my house with any more rubbish thank you for allowing me this rant but true in my experience

Its ok, yeah a bit plasticy and not solid docking base, but main unit is good enough and tbh you just stick your plugs in it and never look at it again. For the price and how many plug sockets you get should take care of most users needs.

Well, I thought that but these 10-way towers all seem to be surge-protected and look at the product code '2710SURGEBLK', and the fact it has green and red neons on the side (e.g. power and surge-protected).

I have two of these and not a single problem but this brand is hit and miss with their product lines, personally paid 12 quid each in the other deal and got them today very durable and surge protected.

I know what you mean - just keep a torch nearby. You can usually get a more than good enough LED torch in a pound store or similar (eBay also do them).
