Heat added i purchased last week and they really do give me 1000MB. I live in a 3 storey house and the study is on the ground floor and i have a cinema room on the top floor with a PC attached. I had recently upgraded to fibre and was only getting between 3MB & 5MB downloads over WIFI now attached to the adaptors i can achieved 1GB throughput and 35MB downloads.
worth every penny.

They really don't give you 1000Mb - it's impossible to get more than about 350 megabits of actual data throughput between these, even in ideal circumstances (e.g. plugged into the same power strip).
That's not really a negative of this particular product - all powerline adaptors are marketed with the same dubious throughput ratings based on low level protocols.

I seriously doubt you're getting gigabit speeds out of these. Just because your network connection says it's connected at 1Gbps doesn't mean that you'll get that kind of throughput.
I'd be amazed if you're even getting half of that.

You are deffo not getting 1000MB as that is 8,000Mb and these are only rated at 1000Mb

How well do these work with double adapters?

I have TP-Link equivalent and get roughly 100mbit actual throuput in a new build property. If on the same powers strip, then get around 350mbit. Not had a great experience with Zxyxel ones. Had three go caput after a 18months of use, only to be told by customer services to use a surge protector (which isn't advised in the user guide)
