That is really poor service from Game, obviously no pre-order guarantee like amazon.In a way i am glad they put up their price if that is the way they treat customers who pre-ordered, saved me the hassle of chasing a refund.Managed to get my pre-order in at Amazon (£349) before it was pulled from their site this evening. Shame not two controllers included like the 360 GOW edition..extra controller is £60.

Release date for this confirmed as 7th October 2016.. game online won't accept my gift card so I had to go into store to place my order. I know the manager and he told me first hand and also wrote the date onto my receipt.

I got the Gears of War Xbox 360 and that is amazing! Still got it and use it...looks amazing...if this was cheaper I would get it...maybe after a year or so I will cope this!

In an official statement to Gamespot Microsoft said the Xbox One S’s extra GPU and CPU was there so developers can make use of the newer console’s HDR support.
“We have the same SOC architecture as Xbox One today,” Microsoft said. “For games that want to take advantage of HDR, we gave developers access to a small amount of additional processing power.”
HDR (high dynamic range) offers expanded color and contrast range, which offers graphics on supporting TVs (many newer ones) that are brighter and more vibrant. Gears of War 4 will be the first game to support this new feature.

Looks like the game, season pass, skins etc are is the ultimate edition which is £79.99.
If you wanted to buy this regardless then it's £269 for the console and controller which is nearer to 500GB, with the added bonus of limited edition console and controller!
Heat added but not sure whether I should just keep the 1TB Forza bundle I bought for £120 from Microsoft France.

This bundle doesn't include the elite controller, just the standard controller... though it is a Gears of War "limited" one...
Price seems standard to me, especially if you consider the Gears game is a downloadable code, rather than a physical copy so no resale value once you've redeemed it. Plus, NEVER purchase a Season Pass without knowing what you're paying for first - cough - Destiny, Arkham Knight, Star Wars Battlefront - cough.

What an ugly limited edition console. For those who haven't got an Xbox already, don't bother. Bought mine in October last year and have only used it a handful of times. Just wait for the Scorpio to launch next year and buy that, no rush for Xbox now, especially since Microsoft announced you can play Xbox "Exclusive" games on PC now...

Im a sucker for special editions and i picked up halo 5 console when that released thinking they would sell out fast.....yeah right, the reality is that less people buy the special editions and the halo bundle plummeted really fast

Amazon originally had it as the 2nd but changed to the 31st and some other retailers the other way around. Just over 2 weeks seems too close with no official announcement.
