It's a con you can't actually buy one - just a marketing campaign for Gamestop!!!!!

Doesn't look like it to me. Elite gears controller is darker. That looks like a standard pad to me. Can't see them adding the allegedly very limited elite controller to a hardware bundle for only an extra £30. In that picture, it shows the 2tb too which is £350 rrp for a standard white one.

Of course the controller is an Elite!
It's the collector's GoW Elite controller Microsoft revealed at E3 last month :sunglasses:

this deal is better than the regular xbox 1tb deals. just sell the controller for 100 quid and you have yourself a xbox elite for 180 quid

But don't you then need to buy another controller?

Might as well save your money and wait for this beast to drop in October :sunglasses:

The controller is Elite too?
For £279 you can't go wrong.

I actually just read that myself. You can stream in 1080p to Twitch on Xbox One too. I believe you can transfer videos from Twitch to YouTube too so that's perhaps not a terrible workaround

Not it's just the console but the controller is worth £100 alone.

I have this and the controller is simply bliss and that's from a PS fan boy.... I've actually started to like the controller now on the XBOXS simply because of the elite. Analog sticks are more responsive and click much nicer than the PS one.
Great price for this peice of kit, would highly recommend it!

That's no surprise when you're paying a fortune for the Xbox Elite controller compared with a ~£40 DS4. Shame Xbox didn't make the original Xbox One pad better to start with.

grr.... cant decide what to do .... got the 500gb s on order ... already got a 4k player . IF the elite drops to £250 I might have to change my order .

I've had playstations and I'm keen to go with the Xbox One. One thing holding me back is the poor streaming options for Xbox users. With the PS4 you can stream to YouTube live. Hopefully a more powerful Xbox console will have the option of streaming to YouTube live.

it's not the power it's just a choice on MS part. you can stream to twitch so technically youtube is no different

Are the new xbox one s coming with ssd? I don't see it mentioned anywhere yet

I can't see any information about this anywhere. With 2TB being in the One S, I can't see them putting an SSD in it at the release price of £349.

It's HIGHLY doubtful.. To be fare it's not an actual ssd drive in the elite it's actually a hybrid drive! Who knows they might release an 'Xbox one elite S' with 2 elite pads a real 2tb ssd for £500 :0 because there just aren't enough consoles on the market already

Jeebus!? Really! Just forked out a small fortune on a 4K BluRay Player.
Whats the starting price for the Xbox S? Sounds like a no brainer now.

This 1TB generation has a hybrid solid state drive, so faster cache. As MA3STRO said, the One S will not have SSD but will probably have a hybrid setup.
