I bought one of these last year, within a few weeks the hose has several small holes developing where it kinks. Worth spending a few quid more on a decent one.

Absolutely, A-men to that. The amount of time over a few years you'll end up cussing, patching up holes and importantly, straightening those godawful kinks in your cheap as chips hose will easily add up to tens of hours. Save the aggro and pay for a decent hose that will last a good few years and make those most mundane of tasks at least minimally bearable.

Looking at the product on their web site and the reviews, there are several complaining that it came without instructions
I find that really funny.
