I have had both. The Swift is much better.

My wife has had this for about 3 months.
It is a great phone. I have an LG G3, and tbh could live with the Swift.
The only real negative is the charging cable. The micro usb port is very recessed so a normal generic charger falls out. This can be a pain, especially when using a car charger. You can buy a cable similar to the genuine one on Amazon which will do the job. They are less than £3 if I recall correctly.
On the subject of the cable.... Mine stopped working after about 6 weeks and Wileyfox would not replace it... "accessories are not covered with warranty due to the nature of wear and tear".
Their service was rubbish for what I know was a genuine fault.
They were unmoveable, told me they don't carry spares, and I should replace the phone through Amazon.
Additionally, do not expect a UK call center.... Very disappointing that a company who makes a play about being British, outsources to Holland.
So...... Great phone, in my experience, shocking customer service.

Been using this phone for about 4 days now.
Absolutely cracking piece of bit. Lovely bright screen. Apps are quick to load and no issues thus far. Battery went on for 3 days before I needed to charge. Recessed USB is not a problem as most of the cables I have are long reach anyway. Love having no bloatware too.
This phone is a no brainer for 100 notes.

Known GPS issues, also charging port only takes a certain size charger.

watch out with these just bought 2 for work and neither work with our existing ee Sims. rang Wileyfox they just said send back to Amazon!
I gave it go on a whim, as an iPhone user for more years than I can remember I was getting tired of "not enough space" messages, compounded by iOS caching policy and increasing crashing. I have to say I really like it - I don't have the time for a full review here, but can't recommend it enough for £99 - time will tell though I guess.
(Dual SIMs are great, as we're about to go abroad so will be getting a PAYG sim at the airport)

Just got one as for £49:99 (with my £50 voucher) its a no brainer instead of £109:99 for the htc 626 same cameras & ram & memory also latest android firmware unlike the htc.

Want to get this for my son to play Pokemon Go - can anyone recommend a non-contract sim please for him to use just for the summer. Do I need 4G? How much data allowance will he need? Thanks much appreciated.

I've got the big brother - the storm. At sub 100 quid the Swift is a good buy. As someone coming off Samsung the move to the Cyanogen OS is a revelation - simple, clean, no bloatware and as fast as a fashion phone costing 3-4 times this.

Was looking at these as have a £50 amazon voucher but im wondering whats better these (Wileyfox Swift) or HTC Desire 626 (2016 Model)?

I bought one of these. It's a brilliant phone. It comes with a screen protector already on it, so the other poster probably got a bit confused about getting a second hand one. It's fast, responsive, has a decent camera and the battery lasts 2 days with normal use. I'm happy with it.
How does this compare to mogo g 2nd gen. I love my moto but the battery is dying on it, struggle to get half a day out of it without recharging, especially on 3g

Ditto, I ordered the Lumia 950 XL on Primeday for £235 after discount and it had to go back due to faulty camera, was gutted. Still they gave me £40 voucher code due to missing out on the 20% discount I had on it, looking to get the Axon 7 now in early August pending positive reviews.

Forgot to say with a 4g sim i couldn't believe the download speeds i was getting, 30 secs or so to download a music album. For those who don't want broadband through a landline when you tether this phone and have a 4g sim you will achieve download speeds unheard of on a normal landline.
PS- The only thing i lost when i updated to cyanogen13 was my matrix looking theme, however i waited patiently and got a simple black and white theme from the installed theme app. After six months of use i compare it to my friends Samsung and i feel a little smug at her expensive Samsung which is already slowing down compared to my wileyfox which is running as fast as the day i got it. Cyanogen OS is the dogs vegetables, they take the Android OS and customise/tweak it. For those who already have one i wouldn't update if they have encrypted their phone as from XDA forums some have experienced issues. I have basically left my phone the same as when i bought it which may have something to do with my recent successful update to Cyanogen13. With the battery saver always on in my case and backround services disabled i normally get 4 even 5 days sometimes without recharging which nowadays is a big issue. I wasn't expecting to be able to update so was pleasantly surprised when i recieved the notification as other phone manufacturers don't guarantee to update, time will tell whether this will continue. The only niggle i had was the dual sim function. When i got it i had to manually switch from one sim to another in the settings. I don't know whether this is still the case as i'm using only one right now, perhaps others could say whether they had the same issue. As my previous post stated i'm very happy with it for the following reasons, battery life, security, ease of use, customisation and price, when compared to other smartphones ( bloatware that you can't uninstall, poor battery life, no updates and the inevitable in some cases slowing down when surfing ) the wileyfox has emerged in my opinion as one of the best looking, cheap smartphones out there.

Had this for 6 months. Great phone. No bloatware to slow the phone down. Recently updated to cyanogen13, no problems. Best features are battery life, 4 days normally. Customisation, most features can be changed. Security, all app permissions can be changed once app has installed. Overall with the specs and dual sim without removal of memory card needed and 4g sim i am more than happy to recommend. However there is some people unhappy at lack of support from wileyfox, not myself but my battery is ok for now.

You can get near 2 days out of a g3, probably either background services/bloatware or a dying battery

Suggest you change your phone to one that provides decent text manipulation. Amazon has a decent deal today on the Wileyfox Swift - that might be worthy of consideration. HTH.

I needed a new phone after my Nexus 4 was on its last legs, I wanted something as similar as possible. It came down to this or the Moto G 3rd Gen, I went with the Moto as it seems build quality would be better, there were worrying reports of the Swift's battery going a bit pap after a few months and CS not being great.

my wife's been using this phone for 3 months with no problems, happy with cam, the battery life and any apps downloaded inc pokemon go recently, looks great especially the back with the cool logo and cam that is pretty flush, only negative she came up with was that its a bit chunky, her previous phone was an iPhone 6, which she sold, I too have ordered the swift because I needed something cheap my oneplus one has gone a bit funny

Typing on this phone now,for this price its very goodabs keep that in mind with everything I say now: camera is great and pokemon go runs fine :stuck_out_tongue:. its got a good amount of ram (2) , 16gb + expandable memory.
The themes I haven't tried to remove, the back does feel a little plasticky and cheap but IMO better then say samsungs at this price point.
No issues so far.

I am using one as I type! It a good phone and Cyanogen experience is/was really good - but the last update has changed few things I liked about the UI (customizable soft keys etc...) as well as made some apps not working! Despite these faults I would recommend the phone - just don't do the latest sotware update - wait for the bug fixes and go for an later update (they apparently have no intention of reintroducing the hot key option etc but these are a preference thing). Phone functions very well otherwise.

Yeah I have never had a phone with them pre applied before and have no idea why they do it.
That deal is cold simply because it was Prime day, you had to have Prime to get the deal, so loads of prime daydeals got cold votes by people without prime.

Been a loyal amazon.co.uk customer for exactly 17 years today
I got one for £94.99 on prime day less the £5 voucher. Sold as NEW NOT warehouse
Opened the box yesterday and shocked, it had someones screen protector still on it!. I don't think this is amazon's fault I think wileyfox shipped it to amazon like this.....
so the phone....very cheap feel, delays etc
amazon are collecting the phone tomorrow. I would go for the slightly more Honor (it was on offer the other day no doubt this price will be available again soon) - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/honor-5x-5-5-16gb-sim-free-phone-139-99-amazon-colours-2479361 - #worththeextra.

I think the warehouse deals are the returns of the 'try now, buy later' offer for Prime members. I'm evaluating one now, and am pretty impressed with it. I like Cyanogen 13, the dual SIM and the fact it's only £100.

I recommended this to a friend a few months ago. For the moment is a great phone. I remember heading rumours of them releasing new phones soon, so maybe this will settle at £99 now - it drops to this pretty regularly.
