Save a fortune on the tiny spray cans (which contain only partly WD40 - the rest is just the propellant to push it out of the can) with this 5 litre container of pure WD40 - complete with a spray applicator to fill from it.
Lasts a long, long time, it's cheaper, and it's always there when you need it.
WD-40 is a mixture of chemical concentrates suspended in a high grade petroleum distillate.
Will not affect fabrics, rubbers or plastics.
Its working temperature is between minus 100º F to plus 300 degrees F.
WD-40 is an all purpose liquid for displacing moisture corrosion control, lubrication, cleaning and penetration.
WD-40 has the ability to penetrate the minute grain boundaries on all metals, although not essentially a lubricant, WD-40 is regularly used to lubricate all light machinery and electrical equipment.
Thoroughly recommended to clean, preserve and protect all tools.
5 Litre container plus spray.
Box Contains
1 x 5 Litre can of WD-40

On QI they said WD40 is essentially fish oil .
Which is why anglers coat their bait and fish hooks with it .
Sometime ago there was a debate on here by people claiming it was not fish oil , but I will stick with it is and yes it is very useful and has lots of uses.

Not sure a handheld pump is going to give quite the same penetration as the pressurised cans, nothing like them for really getting into the bike parts. Great price for a lifetime of WD40 though - at this price it might be worth trying a quick bath in it.. Might sort out my sore muscles after a long ride?

Wait so your not supposed to use wd40 for squeaky door hinges?
if nasa can use it for their squeaky door don't see why not

No because it attracts a lot of dust. You would use a PTFE/Silicon spray for lubrication.

Bought 10L at about this price in 2007, just finishing it now...with help from my friends. The last dregs do seem to go brown and unappealing though still useable. A good use is on bikes and motorbikes over the winter. Apply liberally and frequently, comes off easily in the spring leaving components protected and shiny.
