Cook fast, healthy meals, and save energy, thanks to the Vida halogen oven.
The halogen oven comprises a bowl with infra-red technology and fan, which cooks your food up to three times faster than a conventional oven. As a result, food is cooked evenly (without the need for constant manual turning), remains succulent and juicy, and fat is drained away. Cooking food faster means less energy consumption - great for the environment and your budget! It is also extremely convenient for quick and tasty family meals.
With a 12 litre capacity, this halogen oven will easily feed a family and you can roast, toast, grill, bake, defrost and much more.
When it comes to cleaning, the halogen oven is just as practical with a self-cleaning function, and since fat drips away, multiple types of food can be cooked simultaneously.
The Vida 12 litre halogen oven comes complete with a number of accessories, so you can create any number of tasty meals for the whole family.

Mine was perfect/as new with none of the issues you are reporting. True it's not quiet, but how could it be with a big fan driving air round inside! As they all do.

I think mine was a seconds. Right heap of junk. Top looked like it had got remains of an orange sauce on it. Timer was busted, stuck on 20 minutes, flimsy handle that could possibly be dangerous and so ooooooooh noisy. Very dissapointed.

Noddydog would not have posted comment if I had not "seriously" looked at both pictures. From what I can see they are identical and in specification too. Given the review of the JML I thought it appropriate to alert potential purchasers to this. The JML looks to have some very serious faults.

Can I suggest you put the picture in your link and the one for this deal side by side and look carefully at them. Look at the number of vents in the plastic housing on the lid. Look at the little feet built into the base of one of them. Unless your JML photo in the link you provided is wrong, these two products are not the same.
I was glad to five years. Now is broke, but I buy the same.

Was just about to buy but decided to do a little research. Looks identical to the JML model which has had terrible reviews and sounds downright dangerous. Anyone know if these are rebadged JML's or vice versa ?.
Have had my JML over 10 years now. Maybe I've been lucky or maybe they were made better back in the early 2000's?

Have you seriously looked at the two pictures and think they are the same! General shape maybe, but that's it.

No booklet necessary. Just cook as you would in a fan electric oven. Bought mine a year ago and haven't used the main oven since. Saved me a small fortune

Are these things more efficient than a combi microwave and grill?
kenking00 to reddit
2 Jul 161#13
I cannot comment on the efficiency issue against a combi microwave grill, but i can say that my cooker and microwave ovens are virtually totally redundant since i bought one of these.Chips, fish fingers etc are a lot crispier cooked in the halogen oven and the foods does not loose their moisture and therefore taste better.Should i need to,i will replace my one immediately as i find it brilliant in both energy and performance.Great item/price and voted hot.Good luck all

I have heard they have a problem with overheating so most people mod them with a water cooling system.

I haven't experienced this one from halogen, I imagine multiplayer could be more fun to watch than play. I also speculate if it gets too hot the server may drop. I am not voting on this one just enjoying the thread! <3
