I only replied to darkspace100 because I think they're entitled to their opinion. If they're purposely coming onto threads trashing a game just to wind people up then that's different. Uncharted 2 is the only game in the franchise that is any good and even then it still has that creaky Uncharted gameplay that feels like your using peashooters rather than actual guns. Uncharted 2 at least had great pacing, great characters like Flynn and Chloe and had great setpieces. That game is literally the only reason the Uncharted games are even relevant as 1, 3 and 4 are just shallow tech demos.

I do see your point about adding a new character and not having Sully and Elena in it as much. I think it helps that I've got a short memory span because i can't really remember much about the uncharted games. Have you got a Uncharted favourite?

Story was crap and i could literally write a book why it was so mediocre. First off they shoved in a new character who we are suppose to believe was Drake's brother yet was never mentioned in any previous game, they wasted too much time on this Sam character who has zero personality and the game pretty much ignores Sully and Elena until the very end when they conveniently forgive and forget this Sam character literally almost killed them and ruined their relationships just for treasure and thats not even mentioning the mediocre gameplay and being a walking and climbing simulator with zero challenge. Also the ending was a complete trollage by Naughty Dog by making it seem like something major and dark was going to happen like a betrayal yet ends with a cringey happy ending.

I genuinely mean it when i say the story was amazing. I finished the game about 30 mins ago and now my life feels empty without it :smiley: I'm looking for a cheap copy of the uncharted collection now.

I agree with fishmaster 100%. The best game I have played in a long time. I got so taken in by the story that I couldn't wait to play it again. Tomb Raider has always been my favourite game but not any more. Can't wait for the dlc.

Got it sealed for £30, my limit for PSN games is £15, anything above isn't worth the fact i can't sell it on if i so wish.Plus i like having games like Uncharted on disc.

​To be honest I'm really surprised that quite a few people don't like the game. I've said it plenty of times but I was sitting jaw dropped playing the game sometimes. I really miss the game, so I bought The Last of Us Remastered which has a very strong story, despite it being a massively clichéd post apocalyptic tale, they managed to weave a perfect story.

The point where UC4 really changed things for me, and I'll avoid spoilers is when the main characters husband and wife are sitting on the couch talking, the way UC4 absorbs you in to the story is brilliant. Naughty Dog are experts in their field at story told gaming.

UC4 for me is a total masterpiece of mordern gaming. It took gaming to a level I'd never experienced before.

I would pay £15 for that just for the lolz :smile:

Just need to buy a PS4 now then to complete the quadrilogy.

Be amazed if its better than UC2, top 3 games of all time. One of the few games i completed and was genuinely sad after realizing it was over.

Read similar reviews about UC4 though after people finished it. Keep my eyes peeled for a good PS4 deal now then.

​I thought it was one of the best games of all time. There's flaws in it, there's flaws in every game. The graphics best anything I've seen on a PC so far. It's the variation of locations, and the story that make this game.

You should maybe also tell people that when using this way, you will get always-online DRM on your own console.

Which means when you play your digital purchase and internet goes down/ Sony's servers go down, you will get booted out of your game within some minutes.

And I really mean booted out of your game. You can not only NOT start your games, but you even get booted out of them, when internet goes down.

I've kept my Uncharted 4 as there's DLC coming out which I bought in the triple pack, so waiting for that before I sell. If they do anywhere near as good a job as The Last Of Us DLC (Left Behind) it will be awesome.

Very good game but worth having a think about how many times you'll play it through, and whether the multiplayer is for you. No hassle changing disks but you can pick this up on ebay for less second-hand, and then trade in. Okay price for PSN though.
