They're completely nuts whoever said that. For example the level where you drive the jeep, the gameplay in that is fantastic. The way you interact in an ever evolving story, sure it's a very easy game, but you really do feel immersed i the experience. I've gamed for 30+ years, I've never played a game as good as this one.

Graphically the game excels, it even beats Rise of The Tomb Raider for graphics. The fire effects in the caves, staggeringly good, the scenery in the game just fantastic. The attention to detail is amazing, watch the various animations of each character when you exit/enter the jeep for example. I even forgot I was playing a game it was so immersive in places, such as the husband and wife conversation on the sofa which turns in to some old skool gaming, brilliant! The scuba diving level has awesome graphics. I thought I couldn't see any better graphics in the game and then they went another level up on the epilogue level. I thought the game was jaw dropping, I was just amazed by how great this game is. Very few deserve the word masterpiece but Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us are two Naughty Dog games which deserve this title.

for me this was a massively disappointing end to the series. looked amazing, great story but was utterly tedious to play

I'm the other way to the above. Think it's a great end to the series. More emotion, depth and intrigue to the story than before. Plus graphics are unbelievable.

It was great, pacing was out of place but yeah. The multiplayer is lit too, most fun online third person shooter I played

From what I've read there is not much 'game' in this game. I would replay through the remastered collection and the price could drop even more!

fair enough , the Last of us DLC, sure was surprisingly excellent

I'm not a huge watcher of gameplay, but I literally watched a youtuber play this, start to finish. I loved it, amazing gameplay! But after that, I had no desire to play it! Seems like a one play through then sell type of gig.

Multiplayer is one of the draws for many folk but not for me...
Shooting (although improved) is still the weakest part of the game imo and I hate 10-men-in-a-little-box multiplayer but if your reaction times are really good and you like condensed maps, it could be for you :smiley:

I enjoyed the story and graphically the game is a behemoth , but the gameplay is so pedestrian that i was bored playing it and convincing myself the whole time that i wasnt.

The graphics are nice, but to compensate for it the frame rate is appalling. The PS4 is weak.

You do realise the frame rate is locked to a steady 30fps including the cinematics? Show me where you get this 10-15fps you claim.

Every tech reviwer and analyser branded this game as the most optimised one...
the least fps it goes is 26... and only one scene..(The vehicle to vehicle jump in chapter 13-14.)
I completed the game in hard, and mind you its really tough to complete in Crushing....
This game is not easy... (especially the fights in chapter 18 & 20)
