Will these U1 record in 4k on smartphone's? Or do you need a U3 speed card?
Not the 2016 model (U3) but I think I can live without it. Anyone know the speeds between these U1 and the U3 ones? A very good deal no matter what, Voted hot!

U1 standard is 10MB/s write, U3 is 30MB/s write.
I've got the U3 version and it does 30MB/s and not a lot more, not sure about real world figures for the U1 versions but the reviews mentioned it was slow, not even hitting 10MB/s write if I remember rightly.

This particular U1 card is slow. Write speed is around 10MB/s, sometimes slightly below 10.
The U3 128GB I have, has 30MB/s write, 80MB/s read.
