What's the deal with the free gift card? I reserved this instore and added a 5p carrier bag, £50.04 in total. There is no voucher with my receipt and no mention of claiming anything. Can anyone offer advice?

Carrier bags do not count towards promotional vouchers as that charge is a government thing. A bar of chocolate is usually your cheapest and yummiest bet for those deals.

Yep. Carrier bags don't count. If you want the voucher, you'll need to return the one you've already purchased and repurchase another with a choccy bar or sim card.

Bought a blue one today but the usual s**t service in Argos
Purchased a Maltesers Teasers for 30p just to get the £5 voucher - which I didn't receive
Instead I have to activate the receipt ????? (no indication of how!)
However, the receipt says "You are entitled to a Promotional Giftcard. Please hand this receipt to Customer Services, where you will receive your Promotional Giftcard" NOT!
Does say though that "Your Giftcard must be claimed within 2 months of this purchase" - I'm going to wait more than the usual month to test this out as the usual voucher seems to be only for one month/30days.
Despite all that, happy with the price as the extra terabyte is only a tenner more

I've changed my mind so if anyone wants these let me know and I will PM you the reservation number(s) (first come first served), I believe that is all you will need though I cant guarantee it. Kids annuals and Dulux 50ml testers are 49p, a couple sim cards for 50p/75p, Simple Value Non-Stick Roaster for 95p, Maltesers Teasers Single 50p. Hope that helps :wink:
