My old Navigo running Tom Tom software finally gave up this week. I was gutted about having to spend £70-£80 on a replacement. Read up on various Hot Uk Deals and people kept mentioning "Here" so I downloaded it onto my Samsung S5, bought a windscreen mount for £5.00 on Ebay and it's great. Thoroughly recommend it.

Here is good, and maps can be downloaded so you don't have you use data. Useful when abroad.

I cant be bothered with wrestling my phone into a cradle and connecting it upto the 12v power every time. Its such a pain in the a$$ to do, and thats before I have to start tweaking the brightness levels to suit my preference for driving.
I just leave my TomTom Start 60 in its cradle in the car and its there as soon as I turn the ignition key. Job done, no hassle.
Thats my reason anyway.

Anyone ever heard of an actual map. In my day that's all we had. I still refuse to drive as back in my day we all walked and I'm only 30!!
