Shopitize has slowly been coming back to me. now on week 3 and I've finally had a reply that they will send my money to PayPal. Though that was sent on Thursday with a note that it may take 3 days, still hasn't come through so assume that doesn't count wekends. No reply about last weeks receipt yet...and had sent this weeks, but just remembered I have the app on my ipad and although its no longer on the app store its still installed on there. Tried submitting my latest receipt and it worked!!
amazing stuff...still no idea why its not working on my phone. installed app on my dads phone and signed him up but that had the same error I did. And not sure its being sorted by Shopitize as latest email about it had someone say to uninstall and reinstall... but I've already said I've done that before so not sure anything is actually being done about it.

I understand your frustration grumpyone but whenever that happens to me I log out of my account, switch my phone off and reboot it after 5 minutes then log back in and 99% of the time the error is fixed... :laughing:

Yesterday, I tried scanning my receipt many times but always got a black screen. They'll probably have to send me a cheque for the 55p that I'm missing as they have done in the past on several occasions. At least I nanaged to withdraw my current balance yesterday.
Time to call it quits - Shopitize = hassle !!

Yup, latest version of the app sucks - seems very unstable. Wish I hadn't updated it :disappointed:
I have still been able to upload receipts, but have to try snapping several times, and I get the black screen a lot.

Shopitize has stopped working for me today. When I scan a receipt - only a blank black image appears not the receipt itself - nothing wrong with my phone - camera works OK. Reported it to them.
Tired of multipe issues with Shopitize these days - unrecognised barcodes - slow confirmation of receipts etc etc.
They always admit their mistakes but there are just too many of them.

Best to take a couple of photos ie showing the name/details of the product and a clear photo of the barcode and email them to get them to fix it. Obviously it's a hassle to claim 25p, but you're "fixing" Shoptize for the benefit of all their (Tesco) users ongoing :smiley:
They've always been very quick to fix when I've done that - a few times - in the past.

I've noticed Tesco own brand milk has changed, now has a union jack on the front label and 'Tesco Fair for Farmers Guarantee, Proudly partnering with British Dairy Farmers' - the barcode wouldn't scan in Shopitize. Hopefully will be fixed as didn't look like Tesco had the old style in my local.
