The ultimate Rolls-Royce Motor car Phantom remains the purest example of Rolls-Royce. With its commanding presence it always makes an unforgettable entrance as its sheer scale guarantees it will never go unnoticed.

For a car that weighs over two and a half tonnes, Phantom responds to the squeeze of the throttle with the muscular power of a performance car. Zero to 62 mph flies by in just 5.9 seconds and, where permitted, Phantom will continue to an electronically governed top speed of 149 mph. Meanwhile Phantoms highly efficient eight-speed gearbox seamless transitions and gives the impression that the car has an infinite first gear.

Even at such high speeds or on particularly rough roads, Phantom feels as if its floating on a cushion of air. This is due to its groundbreaking suspension system and its ideal 50/50 weight distribution.

I'm investing with the guy in the Fiesta because the guy in the Rolls is just taking my money to make car payments with.

In all seriousness though people need to look beyond appearances. I don't think people with enough money to afford this sort of car ever see it as a sensible purchase so why should the rest of us?

If you're investing in something with one of two guys, do you trust the guy who drives a rolls - or the guy who drives a 2nd hand fiesta? Having the appearance of being successful inspires confidence. The other half depend a lot on appearances, presence, status etc for making money, amongst other things.

There's one valid reason for you :P

I love the comments by the doom saddo's commenting on world hunger and cars like this are 'disgusting' etc. Get back on your Pokémon games!
If you hadn't noticed in your short lives that the world still turns, the sea still rolls, no mountains fall, the sun still rises, the moon as well: it always will, but perhaps not in your world.
Half of it was starving when I was born, and when you die it still will be. It's life. Not nice, but nowt you can do about it except scream and shout.
Nothing changes.

Either you're rich because you're a tight wad

Or this deal has gone to waste

No-one with money of this kind goes on bargain hunting websites. They just dont.
They wander into harrods or at worst John Lewis on the way back from Waitrose (or get the 'help' to) and buy the item that's the best regardless of cost. they dont hunt for a deal - it costs too much time they dont need to spend.

The rest on here who suggest "I can afford this ACTUALLY" are liars to us, lying to themselves or not nice people to be around (Scrooge).

You could of course just not speed and also have a warning system in the car such as Cam Sam Plus much easier and less stressful. If you're slightly over the limit you could challenge on a legal principle 'de minimis'. I don't really see a problem here, stick to the law, technology will eventually make car travel safer, this is just the start of things to come. We don't have the technology yet to safely organise every vehicle on the road, but we will one day then the only time you'll get to drive a car properly is on a track.

The car in this deal is an absurdity, I believe Daniel Sturridge has one or a very similar model, as soon as I saw him driving one he went down in my estimation severely.

Is then any point anymore in fast expensive cars in the UK?

I watched a Lamborghini drive down Constitutional Hill between Piccadily and Buckingham Palace on Saturday and it did it look rather silly and sound pretty odd, trying to keep to the 30mph speed limit.

With the Average Speed Cameras and the latest Hadecs 3 'zero tolerance' stealth grey tiny (left of gantry) mounted motorway cameras covering all 4 lanes now enforcing the speed limit 24/7 on the M4/M25 and soon to be on the M6/M42, aswell as the North Circular 40mph average speed zone.

Note too, these Cameras are ALWAYS ON, even when there is NO Speed restriction showing. The Hadecs ones on the M4 J19 westbound aren't even visible because of trees covering them, with a £100 a pop, £35 of which goes to Avon & Somerset Police, if you opt for the Course and zero points (Courses are often run by Companies set up by Ex-Chief Inspectors).

Seems they are moving away from making them visible. The Home Office (under Theresa May) subtly changed the operating licence for Hadecs 3, from Hadecs 2. Beforehand, Hadecs 2 were only enforceable for where speed restrictions were lit, showing a speed restriction in place, Hadecs 3, they changed it to allow enforcement even without the Gantries showing the National Speed limit lit sign.

The ones on the M4 issue tickets at 78mph, (when unlit and no speed limits showing) which is pretty low, considering the average speed of the traffic sits around 75mph, there is not much in the way of leeway anymore, easy to drift above 78mph.

Drivers as a whole really need to fight back on this, get a petition to MPs to make sure all Cameras are marked yellow, and Information signs on Motorways warn stating Cameras now operate 24/7, with strict enforcement of National Speed limit.
Or alternatively, Hadecs 3 should only enforce when the Overhead Gantry Signs are lit showing either a speed reduction or are showing National Speed limit sign.

Government (Theresa May) obviously wants 100% enforcement of speed limits, give people 100% of the information, to make sure everyone is aware of what strict enforcement methods are currently in operation. This should be about making sure people stick to limits, not a cashcow, for funding the rollout of more cameras (which is what its now been used for).

My Hyundai would look perfect in the 10 car garage - but what's with the 10 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms - must be for all of those pool parties ! Mind you looking at the pics the average family of 4 might never see each other ...

What a outstanding deal for the everyday man/lady. Right this weekend I'm gonna take the empty bottles back, that'll sort my deposit out at the least.

It will look quite nice parked on my estate. Will park it outside the staffs quarters so they can look at it constantly and see what they can achieve after a lifetime of pokemon go.

It states 15mpg but that not what you'll get. Mine was advertised as 26mpg in city but I get 18mpg when I get stuck on couple of traffic lights. Big engine like these are better with start stop engine. The lamborghini hurricane has start/stop technology so makes it city friendly

But then again the jedi religion doesn't believe in material goods, however a cheap star destroyer for 1 million credits seems reasonable.
