its pumped full of water...a couple of the packs were FULL of water...didnt look good. Cheap, but not worth it imo.
We buy from the wholesaler locally and get 5k for £20-23 depending the offer. Its freezable too.

Na I don't think they will be returns .. They would have stated it on the packaging..

Butchers market , does that mean organic or free range?

I always thought that the 'Butchers Selection' and 'Fresh' are indicators of organic products..

I guess one would have to read the ingredients label..

I think the source of the chicken was Poland last time.

As supermarket chicken goes this isn't at all bad. Great deal in my opinion.

Why would anyone associate a generic name like "Butcher's Market" to mean anything to do with organic? :confused:

Sorry but this is gotta be cold, we need to be supporting local farmers not ones in Poland etc, I refuse to buy chicken that is not reared in Britain. We all need to do our bit, I goto a butchers, tesco/ asda if need be but not Iceland anymore, amazes me how they can sell British whole chickens but the breast etc are from Poland.

Dont care how much it costs if its not sourced from Britain then its staying on the shelf.

I'm pretty sure after the discussion last time these are just plain old chicken breasts, not organic. The name is just marketing. For essentially £4 a kg they're a bargain however.
