I'm my experience all batteries except energizer and Duracell are a waste of money. Rechargeable and non rechargeable

Most people rate/tested as best Panasonic Eneloop rechargables or any variants made in the fujitsu factory in Japan... Amazon basics are also meant to be made there.

Ironically Duracell and Energizer are some of the worst in terms of bang-for-your buck available..

I second that. And I just bought 12 AAA from there for £5.99 with free postage!

Currently, there is an offer on for the AA and AAA batteries too. I think around £5-£6 for 12 AAA one and around £12 for 16 AA ones. Fantastic batteries too!

Are energized the best rechargeable batteries?
I stand corrected on the Duracell comment. Never Used the rechargeable Duracell but the standard ones don't last long in an Xbox one controller.

Is energizer the best?[/quote]Not on a vfm basis. You can pick up Kodak Xtralife at Tesco or Poundland for a fraction of the cost. Also, I've had numerous Duracell failures due to leakage.

I picked up the wilko rechargeable batteries when they were discontinuing them at around £1 a pack. They seem to be working fine and charging well on my fast charger. So these should be ok too for the price.
