This is a seriously hot deal for a family of 5 to Santorini in the school holidays. This really won't last and if anyone is still after a break for August I'd get on this now!
Flights are with Thomson and from Birmingham and whilst I haven't added main hold luggage, you can add this for additional cost depending on how much you need.
The accommodation is via Airbnb and I know some people can be cautious about using them but this place is also on TripAdvisor and has good reviews on there and on Airbnb. Whilst it may be slightly out of main attractions, the beach is a short walk away and there are buses too. The accommodation costs and availability in Santorini on the dates of the flights are limited but this is seriously good value.
*Breakdown*
Flights with Thomson Airways £356.
Book apartment in Santorini on Airbus which is in Akrotiri. Rooms have a double bed and three singles and it totals £971 for 5 people. This place is on TripAdvisor and has really good reviews but booking via Airbnb is cheaper.
Book transfers with hoppa.com using code HOPPA30 £38.02
Total £1365.01/£273

Yikes! There must be big price differences to head down to Birmingham. I have a friend in Edinburgh who often goes from Newcastle as there is a big price difference especially as they haven't broke up for the holidays, when Scotland have!

I would have said most Scottish schools are back around then - as for flying from Birmingham, a lot of Scotland residents fly from there or Manchester, as it's frequently a lot cheaper than flying from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

In parts of Scotland they are, but these flights are from Birmingham so I can't really see anyone in Scotland wanting to fly from Birmingham to be honest!
