Recently added to Netflix if you didn't already know.
With Blu-ray being superior to streaming on Netflix (and for instance series 1 being 29 episodes long @ 50 mins a time) - I think these sets are good value at £13.50 a pop.
I prefer the individual sets over the complete box as they look better and are presented nicely - particularly if you're lucky enough to get the slipcases.
As some other posters have also said, plenty of special features across all the discs. And the choice between the new supplemental digital effects or the episodes as per originally broadcast - but beautifully restored in HD.

Thanks. Have ordered despite having already bought them all on VHS and DVD and even S1 on HD-DVD! Prefer these separate ones to the complete box set as the cardboard disc wallet in that set looks horrible

grrr no the cage in first season boxset (the menagerie not as good IMO). the cage is perhaps my favourite star trek story. at least the Vhs's collection had it!

If memory serves, you'll find both cuts of The Cage in the series 3 boxset. I might have been watching the DVD version, but as it was remastered I can't think of any reason it wouldn't be in this Blu-ray release either.

...and ALL the extras. There's a place for physical and a place for streaming, but if you're a fan, physical is the only way to go. And this is a good price. Heat!

I think this has hd versions of original effects before CGI, which netflix won't have.
