I have this got it for £2.00 last time it was posted on HUKD. For the price it's definitely worth the price I've had for 2months no problems at all the best £2.00 I have spent in ages.

Would you say mate, in your humble opinion, Argos is the greatest store known to man, and their service is second to none?
Cheers.

The cheap Ikea one looks more modern, how does this compare quality wise? I've went through two Ikea ones in the past couple of years, but at this price they're more or less disposable!

Why not buy a clock movement off Ebay for 99p superglue it to the wall and write your own numbers on the wall in permanent black marker? - looks "mint" - just another fashion tip from the estates up north.

It keeps very accurate time but some people will find the very loud tick annoying.

Ours has lasted over a year so far, we bought it to teach kids time, as most clocks don't have all the numbers on and the practice wooden clocks are more than this,

Just a word of warning, it does not have an alarm.

Combining it with a set of solar LEDs from B&M produces a solar powered clock that is illuminated during the night.
Just keep it some place sunny during the day (or at least the solar panel)!
