Needed a new tv and Tesco saved the day. On the shelf it's £249 but is scanning at £219 plus double clubland points today. bought at Tesco stairfoot store.

Got a 46" version of this, can't complain. Sound is fine, but it's not like TV sound is ever great. Would recommend.

Many of the newer Sharp models use an RF remote instead of infrared, so they are fundamentally incompatible with the Sky remote.

I bought the Blaupunkt 43" today for £180. To be honest they're probably the same inside as they're both UMC

I bought a 55" for around £180 - The sound is crap and you can't program the Sky remote to operate this.

Try UMC and any supermarket brand codes, Sharp are unlikely to work.
