I'd NEVER touch these 64gb ultras. You might get the old stock - just Google the problems (I had one and was shocked that a company like this could send out so many units that failed). Latest on they sorted the "write only" faults but not worth the risk in my opinion.

I'd sooner have a Samsung for £2 extra for Evo, or £3 extra for the Evo+

Cheers OP, just what I needed for my latest tech purchase (ASUS C100P)
I've got 3 x Sandisk Ultra SD cards, all been perfect with no problems. Heated up.

I have also had 2 of these fail in android devices. Not worth the hassle.

I have had the same with 2 32GB Samsung EVO's. Android has been historically bad with SD card support. Not sure if it's more likely to make them fail.

i purchased 2 of these from a argos deal at £10 each early this year. these were a bit of a nightmare to format. I found out after that the format and file transfer only works with my SanDisk card reader and non of my generic  ones. if I hadn't got and SanDisk reader I would have thought they were faulty. no problems when worked that out.

I've always wondered why if micro cards are so cheap, why is on board storage on smart phone so pricey. Looking at you Apple. Be good if you install a couple as raid disk storage

Just bought one of these 64GB Sandisks a few days ago. Are they all duff or just some?
