No reason it shouldnt once you upgrade your note (I did) put the charging bit in the case and then taped to the battery ... works great

​never really charged from flat to full, but the S7 would probably take 4 hours. lithium ion batteries on phones should never be charged from flat to full often, so I always top up, rather than letting it die completely. the s7 comes with a 9v charger so it's gonna be faster, but this thing is limited to 5v 2amp I believe...

From what I've read its easier to find the hole then getting this thing lined up on the charging plate

If you sit near your charging lead you can use your phone as it charges. While this, you can't really do that.

I remember having a wireless charger unit for my note 3, it was faulty, but when it did work it was a nightmare. Had to make sure it was on the unit perfectly or it wouldn't turn on the charge.

Don't think I cba to go through that again for a slower charge rate than what I'm currently getting.

​The Samsung note 3 needs a QI battery reciever before it can work.

But the unit above is stated to work on any QI device.

I still don't understand the appeal of these,as they save a couple seconds at most over plugging in a normal charger yet they then take far longer to charge the phone,so the couple of seconds saved actually costs you hours more.

I'm still going to vote hot because if you really want one then the price is good.

Honest answer is because I'm lazy and it's convenient haha. I have the fast charge model and my life is totally enhanced having those extra 2seconds a day by just placing it on the pad

I can't see the point of these. if it has to sit on a pad that's plugged into the mains, why not just have your phone plugged into a charger in the mains?

The answer will most likely be yes, aslong as the phone uses the QI standard.

As for my review of this, it's hit and miss. When I ordered my S6 Edge I got mine and found it to be good for the first week or so. After that it got a nuisance imo. Unless they've improved it, I found it much easier to just get a reversible micro-usb and use that with the faster charger included.

I could put it on some nights and still be waiting for it to charge when I wake up. It's a convenience but only if you get the spot bang on every time, otherwise you'll find yourself adjusting it several times before you get it right.

I got this from ebay for about £5 delivered. It was delivered in a jiffy bag and not in retail packaging so I suspected it was fake, but it works fine for my s7 edge.
Bottom line is that these are first generation wireless charges and they charge very slowly, but they will charge, so long as you're not in a hurry is good for topping up your phone when you leave it at your desk or over night.

I leave one at work on my desk so it doesn't bother me that its slow [1.5 hours for a half charge]. I bought a fast charge one from Yootech [amazon] £15, and its very good and charges twice as fast.
