Backwards compatible from Friday on XB1. Other places seem to be hiking the price after the announcement.

I said it says two to three weeks, erm like check the screen capture I posted.
You're waffling on about the 22nd, today is the 8th and bizarelly enough that means yesterday was the 7th.
That's two to three weeks in anyone's book, apart from yours because you've just proved you can't add up :smirk: blimey

My last comment on this, yes I know its been cheaper and someone has saved a few quid, he must be well pleased as the same comments appear in another RDR deal thread, which helps no one to get this cheaper at the moment. Kudos to you. Kinda smacks of being needy and wanting to be noticed tbh. This is a decent price for the GOTY disc with stock due 22nd July, vote how you like on that. I do not work for Base either. I wonder how certain people vote on, for example, current Xbox Live 12 month deals or do they quote 'well I got it for 18 quid before Xmas'?
I can see why people have said they no longer post deals.

You don't say dude but over here in lil old Britain we call what those kinda guys do 'touting' :smirk:
Oh and when we talking in slang we tend to refer to Her Majesty's Pound Sterling as a quid, please keep bucks references for your mighty Greenback.
I'd have thought that in a country as big as yours with that far greater consumers choice you'd not need to be searching for bargains on this side of the pond and then there must be import duty too but it's up to you, it is a free world.
Whatever floats your boat I suppose, as long as it ain't called the Titanic of course :smirk: she didn't float that well doing trans Atlantic crossings hohum
By the way it would be awesome of you if you were to thank me for trying my hardest to respond to you in your American English tongue as much as possible.

I'd like to hear your definition of scalping.

I am happy to put my hands up and accept I was wrong because until that Take Two matey categorically stated there would be no remaster because of BC the other week I was convinced Rockstar/Take Two being Roackstar/Take Two would go that route.
Even the fact they pulled the Red Dead BC access so quickly after they opened it up and piped out an immediate update to block it six months ago made me even more sure they wanted to milk this franchise to the max but I'm glad to admit my cynicism was unfounded and way off the mark on this occasion

Thanks Man. I just had a check on xbox.com (I was adding the code for Halo: Master chief edition. Thanks) HOTUKD!). Undead Nightmare is there including all the other DLC (liars and cheats, Legends and Killers etc) but does not yet say 'Backwards compatible'. I'll wait until tomorrow. Additional bonus is that I found a ton of other games that I have that are BC.

Good stuff. I loved the multi-tiered co-op missions. The gold mine where you had to steal the gold. Floating down the river on a raft and getting shot at from both banks was also a mission I remember. The avatar customisation is also very cool.

I don't mind starting from scratch on my Xbone again, I been playing through it on my 360 over the last few days and it's reminded exactly why I put so much time and effort in to it the first time round on PS3 :sunglasses: what an amazing game!

But had I posted the price this GOTY edition of RDR was going for on Gameseek 10 days ago you'd all have been "so what blah blah blah" even though I'd have actually been giving you a future deal rather than a past one as you claim.
Sorry but as I've already said in a post about second hand copies of this game, ever since that sales executive or whoever it was from Take Two 100% confirmed there would be no remaster of this game because there's no point with BC it was obvious it was only a matter of time.
So anyone that tight they weren't willing to risk a couple of bob on a second hand copy or a tenner tops for a new one have only got themselves to blame now it's official and the price has sky rocketed over the past 24 hours.
Hindsight is indeed a wonderful thing but this ain't hindsight, the entire gaming world and his dog knew Red Dead would come to Xbone via BC at some point very soon.

Sorry didn't realise this was 'Past Hot UK Deals' site, really don't see the point of your comments, well done you on getting it cheaper previously. Every thread would be so tedious with experts getting it cheaper hours/days/weeks before.
I picked up a Rubics Cube for two quid years ago, they're more expensive now, well done me.
As at today, this is a good deal.

7 Jul 16#43
Fair enough, I wasn't sure but I read it as if you were saying it's about time they did a remaster (as in, they've just made one, here it is). But you're right, I should've read it as in it deserves a remaster!
Side note: I'm playing through it on 360 and am not convinced it's as good as people make out. I mean, technically it's great, I just find open world games drag on too long. Backwards compatibility is a great thing though.

According to Rockstar, Undead Nightmare (and indeed all the variations of the game) will be compatible:
that's not 100% conclusive, the quote is every Red Dead Redemption Xbox 360 owner will be able to play the game directly on their Xbox One, regardless of which version of the game they own (Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare and Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition).
so does that mean the base game will be playable regardless of which original version you own as the picture only shows the base game and the Undead part has not been mentioned as being BC?
