The good old Radio Times 12 issues for £1 offer is back!
But it's better than that - loads more offers on this link (code SS16CA if necessary) including:
Good Food, Gardener's World, Top Gear, Countryfile, History, Homes and Antiques, Gardens Illustrated, Olive, Focus, Lonely Planet, Quick Cards, Wildlife, Cycling, History Revealed, Sky at Night, Music, etc etc etc - all 5 issues for £5.
Don't forget to cancel the subscription if you don't want it to continue!

Finally got through to cancel on their (outside the uk) phone number.
After I was greeted by this less than cheerful rep. I told him I did not want the remaining 8 issues, strange as the offer was for 12 and not 10.
He said it's cancelled, but after going back to the status page, it is still listed as LIVE.
I will check tomorrow, again. If it's not done, I will cancel the DD, as they would have ignored two emails, and not actioned my phone call.
For me, at least, not worth the hassle.

Cancelling the DD is all that is needed, no hassle or need to contact them. If they still keep sending you issues more fool them.

Is there a way of cancelling without paying 7ppm to call them?
I am on my 2nd issue but, just not really interested in it. Want to cancel now.
They have not taken the £1 yet, but the DD is set up.
I can see my subscription on the website, but no way to cancel.
Thanks

Well that's strange. I've had no confirmation from them and they didn't answer my email but I've just got an issue of radio times through my door. Hope there's not a problem when I call to cancel.

:disappointed: Thanks. I've emailed them as its in their FAQ that if you don't receive in 2hrs to contact them. Wish I'd screen shot the order no now.

A few months ago I signed up but magazine didn't appear in mailbox when due. Emailed them and they said order not actually processed as I'd had too many trials before! I suggested to them that they ought to say not just take but ignore the subscription and also have clear published statement as to if/when one could retrial a sub!

I've just had problems trying to take out another £1 offer subscription
It appears that the surname on the application is being refused because it was used 12 months ago
Using a different surname (same address/direct debit details) solved the problem

We reserve the right to reject or cancel subscriptions at any point if the customer has previously cancelled their subscription during the trial period for that magazine.

Not sure the tcb will work as the small print says not valid on trial subscriptions via direct debit. Hasn't stopped me trying though
Thanks OP ordered 5 months of a card making magazine which says it includes the free gifts which is unusual on some subscriptions, also will cover me for the Christmas issues , just need to remember to cancel the dd
